Did Azarenka change her grunt?

I always thought she had the most annoying grunt on tour, which made it almost impossible for me to watch her. Which is too bad since her game itself is quite nice to watch. I saw this highlights video and felt like I was watching a different player. It's so much better to watch.

She changed a few tournaments ago. I'm glad she did, I feel like she was wasting too much energy with the "owl" sound.

Probably just getting older and more mature. The voice box of a squealing young girl replaced by the lower pitch sound of an older woman.

I thought of her ...whatever happened to her, anyway?

Apparently she stopped playing for the past 5 years. Hasn’t officially retired though. But I think she is done.

Quite common in the pro tour. The state tennis centre that i frequently play at has many 25+ yo ex pros who just couldn’t financially sustain a career and are now coaching part-time while they study physiotherapy.

As a writer, there must be (at least) a good, mostly untold story, or two, there.
