Davis cup tickets anywhere?

I've been online looking for tickets since the day they came out, no luck Now I've realized that I won't be able to get them from some major company, but is there someplace while people sell their tickets, or could I scalp some? Any possibilities?

Sorry, buddy. I wish I knew how to help you. A couple days ago, I read an article on Yahoo! Sports saying that tickets for Davis Cup final were sold out within 30 minutes of being released to the public.

Call the venue directly perhaps? Keep trying whatever authorized ticket sales company they used. Try once in the morning, once in the evening. A certain number of tickets were probably held back off sale for sponsors, guests, and whatever else. If those tickets don't get used, they will be released, right up until the day before the event begins. You might get lucky.

I don't know of a single person personally (of maybe 20 who tried) who got tickets at either the USTA presale or the General public sale.

I have heard of folks on Forums (like this one) but talk is cheap.

****, Craigslist (Portland) and StubHub are the places I have found them to be on sale. There are a few jokers (yeah, I know, free market and all) that are trying to make big on the tickets that they have secured as tennis professionals or tennis organizations. Too bad, it will price some enthusiests out of the market. Some the tickets are for 1 day, some are for 3 days. Various prices. It is my understanding that there are no seat assignments yet (I am in que) but the venue seating chart is available at usta.com. Know where your seat(s) would be before you buy the tickets and pay attention to quantity. Shop and compare. I would "watch" the tickets initially and then buy. More tickets will become available through these sources once they have the tickets on hand. Good Luck!
