Allergic to String

Really... i was stringing some Pro Supex BA last night and could not stop sneezing! now i have seasonal allergies and up here in the NE (near Philadelphia) this is a bad time of year for allergy sufferers... but i was in my climate controlled basement, hopped up on Allegra.... stuff set up for strining as normal... once i opened the pack and started to uncoil the string, i started sneezing like crazy... even during the racquet stringing. once i was done stringing, i cleaned up and it went away!

has this happened to any one else???

is there a doctor in the house???

Surely it can't be the string, maybe they packed it in a place where some dust/pollen/something else got in there and you are allergic to that.

^this comment is dumber than this thread is funny.....of course you can have an allergic reaction to something in the copolymer tensilon-fused hyperthrust string, imagine how it's produced.....

Well you can of course, the point is that its unlikely to have an allergic reaction to these things. Polymer or Urethane synthetics tend to be fairly allergy friendly, as do most of the coatings.
