O3 Tour MP or ???

Ive recently been experimenting with an 03 Tour MP after about 1.5 years of dedicated play with TF335s. I have no other experience with sub 12 oz frames.

I'm enjoying the lighter swing weight in the second hour of play, I'm definitely getting more power on 1st serves, and don't have any negatives, except a little more arm shock that I think can handle.

Does anyone with O3 experience have other alternatives to suggest before i go out an buy a few more?

my game: 48 y.o., between 4.0-4.5, 1HBH, lots of topspin, good kick 2nd serve, finish points at the net.

Arm shock can be addressed a number of ways. I think the first question I would ask is sort of obvious, but did you use a dampener with the racquet? I think this is a very simple solution that certainly goes a long way in my personal experience. Secondly, if you don't have an overgrip but don't mind using one, you could try that as well. The biggest factor contributing to arm shock may be the tension. I demo'ed an O3 Tour for about two weeks and had no issues strung at the median tension. If you feel you can drop it a few pounds and still keep a consistent game, that would be a good start.

Overall, I think if you like hitting with the Prince and enjoy the feel of the racquet, you should keep with the Prince line and go back to the basics on reducing shock. If you do stick with the Prince line, the O3 and Speedport will have a similar effect because it's that much less frame for shocks to be absorbed by. Personally, they make a great line of racquets and I would suggest playing with them if you enjoyed hitting with the Ozone.

If you like the feel of the O3 Tour, check out the Speedport Tour. It's a little more powerful, has a little better feel, is much more stable on volleys and returns and has more pop on serves.

I didn't get a lot of feedback here, but the more I've been playing with the 03 Tour, the more I like it. Since I already have 1, I just ordered another the same.

Maybe in the future I'll go for the 03 Speedport Tour, or something with similar specs. I'll have a few TF 335s to trade soon as I have 4 and I'll keep only 2.

I own an o3 tour mp and find it somewhat unstable. Spin, serve are very good, volleys, touch, not so much.

I used o3 tour for 2 years and I agree with rayallen's opinion
however, changing frame I haven't found a racquet having the same pro of o3 and solving problems (stability and touch) of o3

Now I'm using MG radical pro and I'm not sure I like it nut I'll go on to demo it

I would like to test speedport but I can't find it
