Quick Question

I am wanting to buy a stringing machine and am just wondering if table-top stringers are good for what I will be using it for. It will only be for personal use and I was thinking about getting the gamma x2 stinger. Any help would be appreciated. I had heard that table-top stringers do not hold tension well but was not sure of this either. Thanks for the help.

If stringing for yourself, a table tob stringer is fine.

tension holding is not related to tabletop vs stand-up, you can do an exelent job with any machine weather it be the gamma x2 or the babolat sensor, its like a great chef, a nice kitchen helps, but he can cook a great meal on a single electric burner

Table top vs self-standing has nothing to do with the tension mechanism. In fact, many self-standing models that hold tension very well can also be used table-top. That and it doesn't make any sense any how....

It would help if you told us how you plan on using it. Just for yourself can mean anywhere from once a year to three times a day.

I am leaning toward the Gamma x2 stringer, and am wanting to ask if it's a good buy for the price (158.00on *******sports). I will most likely be stringing my racquets about every 2-3 weeks I'd assume. Any response will help. Thanks Nick

So long as you don't have 10 racquets, the X2 should be more than fine, and definitely a deal.
