Best shorts on TW?

Any recommmendations for the best shorts that TW carries?

I guess cheaper is more attractive for me, as I really don't want to pay $40+ for a pair of shorts. But I have bought some cheaper pairs in the past and haven't been too happy with the fabric or the contruction.

So which ones do you folks like?

Yonex makes good shorts, although I haven't tried the newer shiny ones.

K-Swiss Accomplish 8" shorts are excellent. The feature durable material, traditional styling, side pockets, and a back pocket. The best part . . . they're only $22.99. They are better than many Nike shorts at twice the price.

Another thing: The K-Swiss logo is on the top part of the shorts, so it'll be covered by whatever shirt you choose (if that sort of thing matters to you).

The TW shorts. It's cheap and the shorts when I bought it was Balle De match and the shorts were pretty awesome.

If you're donning the logo of one company, does it really matter if it is TW or Nike unless you're sponsored, right ?

Forgot to mention that I'd prefer a 7" inseam.... I really don't like those long shorts.


For those K-Swiss shorts, does the material actually feel like FABRIC, or does it feel plasticky?

I know what you mean by "plasticky feel". No, it doesn't feel like that. It feels much more like natural fibre. Although it's made of synthetic fabrics, it feels more substantial than most other polyester shorts.

One thing I forgot to mention that they may run a bit big. I recommend buying small if you normally wear medium.

the TW shorts are made by balle de match. there's a balledematch logo and a tw logo on the shorts

Hmmm....they must have changed suppliers because the black TW shorts I got a few months ago were made by Under Armour and has the UA logo on the leg near the hem (the other leg has the TW logo).

I bought a white one about 9 months ago and it was still Balle De Match.

Well, I guess they get the white ones from Balle De Match and the black ones from Under Armour.

I dig the Nike Heritage w/11" inseam. Good looks aside, I like the fact that they are reversible.

Those are excellent. Don't let the 11" inseam description fool you. They actually fit between 7 and 9" in length. They are shorter and tighter than most current Nike shorts, including the Federer ones.
