Anyone in Surprise, AZ?

I'll be in Surprise next weekend and looking to hopefully pick up a match on Fri/Sat AM, prefer singles at the tennis center. I'm a lower 3.5,

jamauss is the only one I know who posts on these forums and lives out there. Surprise is way outside of the city area.

I would offer to play but I have been injured and out of shape. I haven't hit a ball in 3 months. I am going to try some light hitting Thursday for the first time. If my wrist holds up I could potentially hit Saturday morning.

I think I"m going to just call the center and see if they have capabilities to set up a match. Still may do drop-in doubles, however I just need to play more singles and try to get use to this Pro Hurricane string

Last I saw of jamauss he was drooling while holding reels of NRG2 and Black Code, might be a lost cause

Well Jim and I got to play. I had two braces on - ankle and knee plus a tennis glove for more cushioning on may hand- lol. But it was still fun.

It was fun, sorry you didn't get more of a workout out there but at least I saved the wear and tear on the body by not making you hit many ball...haha..

Brother I hope you are alright, and out of shape I don't think I would call you that based on the fact you ran around pretty well when we hit a few months ago.

SUPRISE is a great facility, when you go out there ask to speak with J.R., he is one of the pro's out there and he will take care of you. Good luck in your search.

Thanks for your support. I played you in between injuries- after ankle before knee and wrist

Unfortunately I have been kind of inactive for the last 2-3 months. I put on about 5 lbs. It's all good I am going to just take it easy getting back into things. I'll probably stop playing any type of USTA stuff for awhile.

And yes Surprise is an awesome public facility. I just wish it weren't so far from the main portion of the city or I would play there all the time.
