Surprise AZ

Headed to Surprise, AZ for nationals in a few weeks. Looking for some good local restaurants, breweries, cool stuff to do while I’m out there.

If anyone else is going Sept 28-Oct 1 would love to grab a beer!

How come you are still around as usual? Weren't you the guy who was supposed to settle down in Italy?

Well, they keep paying me more to stay and I haven't gotten to sick of the work yet. Figured if I go along another couple years I will have my full 30 years for the pension. Probably an extra $1000 or so a month. Well worth making more now and getting paid more the rest of my life.

Italy is still there and we look through places a few times a month.

Speaking of surprise.. Does "the law of surprise" in the Witcher TV-series have anything to do with Surprise, AZ?

Lordy I hope not, I have a seven month old at home
Don't worry. You only have to give up your kid of someone saves your life.

If your doubles partner is a swole guy with long hair that speaks in grunts, and your opponent smashes an overhead at you, yell, "I got it" so your partner doesn't try and "save" you from the overhead.

I will post up when we visit next year. Haven't figured out where we are heading this time yet, but ready for some clay court....well, wine, beers, amazing food, and then other stuff.
About 10 years ago got to play at the club that hosts the Rome masters tournament. Crazy cool experience. More recently playing on clay, it’s amazing how much less I hurt and ache after.
Plus, beer, wine, and amazing food never hurt anyone
