There's already a thread with updated info in "Strings". They are still in business, just installing a new phone system. Where are you sending your emails (i.e. what address)? I got a reply within the hour of my email, as always. I buy string and grips from LF on a regular basis and am glad it is business as usual. The web site is the same and has been there for quite a while.

I sent to info@laserfibre.com. Now I got the same email from them. It's weird that a new phone system would cause their numbers to be disconnected.
Hey il mostro, how do you like the SP DG?
I'm still loving it. No problems since I got it -- working exactly as it should.

Pros and Cons of the machine? Am considering, Gamma Progression ES II, SP DG, and Neos 1k.

As mentioned on the previous post, the only possible issues one might give thought to with the DG are the rotational gripper and brake. I have given thought to these, but after working with this machine they are more conceptual than real-world issues for me.
The brake is fully functional in terms of holding the table; no issues at all in performing this task. It does not do so in an infinite number of positions; the 8 positions it locks in are completely adequate for me. The brake worked fine on the three O3 Tours I strung yesterday.
The rotational gripper takes a little more string than a linear gripper. When I run short on the last cross there are several things I do. It is a simple matter to use a starting clamp as a bridge. I have one already prepared for this task at the ready, so not a big deal. In fact, by wrapping the string only once around the gripper (versus the two recommended in the instructions) this is often not necessary. The gripper is so effective, all that is really needed is enough string to slide past the slot where it clamps down, so this works too.
The features I like are multiple pull speeds, variable pre-stretch, knot over-tension, extremely precise tension (with zero calibration needed required during my ownership -- still measures spot-on), tension adjustable in small fractions of a pound (down to 1/10th), push-button convenience with an intuitive keypad layout. The basics are there too: stable table; solid 6-point mounting system and good clamps. Lots of good options in the $1,000 +/- price range, but the full features of the DG are why I went with it.

About a year and a half now. I have chronic upgraditis with all things. I have threatened to get an Opus or something of similar ilk but, for my modest needs, I don't think it will do anything too much better from a purely functional standpoint. Again, that's just for my needs and volume. I can always sink that money into a ball machine, audio gear or lots of IPA
Same clamps on DG, Aria, Opus and Maestro now. They work very well.
