They play a "super tiebreaker" on the doubles tour, instead of playing a 3rd set. I believe it's a 10 point tie-breaker. I have never heard of them doing it in singles. Got a video?
but the final score of the 1st video was 11-9... it didn't go to 12 pointsThe current tiebreaker is called a 12-point tiebreaker.
hi guys, I do have video. I doubt it was an exhibition because they (Guccione and Young) are both mid-level, not well known pros. Also note that, although in the first video Guccione won the tiebreak by 2 points (11-9), he did not win when the score was 8-6, even though he would have if it was a 7-point tiebreaker.

Like I said, this is not an official match.

so in this wild card shootout thing, they don't play official matches??? weird stuff, but cool

Hey those are my dad's videos. Yea they are playing the wildcard shoot-out for a spot in the main draw at the LA tennis open.
He means 12 total points. When the players get to 6-6 then the next person to lead by two points wins.
Nice vids....both seemed to have no first serve in the first one with Young and Guccioni....
