What are some really good control oriented Syn Gut strings?

Also out of curiosity, do multifilaments work better for flat hitters compared to spin players?

When you say "control oriented Syn Gut strings," I assume you mean monofilaments, not multifilaments.

I would recommend Gosen JC (Jim Courier) highly. And Wilson Reaction (even though it's not strictly-speaking a monofilament; it's more a bundle of small monofilaments).

Both JC and Reaction offer a crisp, firm string bed, and they both hold tension really well.

what about tecnifibre multi-feel>

It's a multi w/polyamide central core monofilament for good comfort and increased durability; better in thin gauge (17) for increased ball speed and responsivity especially in denser pattern frames.
