Cage 2's have been voted best shoes in last 5 years. People say, no shoes can match its greatness..

Do you play with the cages fedace? I'm just questioning the weight, vapors seem so lightweight but i hear they have a long break in period..

Cages are very durable shoes and very comfortable. I wear Yonex, Nike, and also Asics-- trying it just now. never tried Vapors. Ask Federer, he wears the new ones every match so not sure if he has someone break them in or what ?????? lol

Fedace, sometimes in between your fits of Fedacidocity(tm) you show sparks of genius and absolute brilliance.

It took me 30 days to fully break in my Oreos.

I dunno how Fed can wear a brand new pair out of the box comfortably.

The Oreos are the most finicky and high maintenance shoe I've ever owned, but at the same time, the best.

If only they had a 6 month. The souls(tm) wear out quick.

^^Maybe he has his wife walk around in them in the hotel rooms. with the extra weight and all, it won't take as long to break them in....... maybe few hours will do ya.............

I will go with cage II.

Yes I have three pair of cage II. Just recently try vapor and hated it so much. It has minimal cushioning, very stiff & it touch my ankle awkwardly. In fact cage II felt very well cushion, very breathable & comfortable right out of box (vapor was opposite)

I've used both and prefer the vapor vi. Many of the attributes of the BCII are better actually, but I couldn't stand how high they sit up. The vapors ride lower to the ground so even though it takes them forever and a half to get broken in, I went with them in the end.

It depends on what you like, the Vapors are made to be stiff, which is why some people whoes feet doesn't match up too well with the shoe to start with need a long break in period.
If you like shoes to feel stiff (which to some people isn't necessarily a bad thing) and low to the ground get Vapors.

Personally, i prefer the Vapors. I've always worn vapors, but got a pair of cages last year. They just felt more clumpy and high up than i'm used to- still a very good shoe, just not what i'm used to or prefer. I still use them on clay though and for work because of the comfort, but matches i stick with vapors. The Vi's have really good stability aswell. As everyones been saying really, its down to what you prefer, your not going to go epically wrong with either

I vote Vapors. They are the best shoe I've ever worn however they take some time to break in...usually a couple hours for me of walking around the house. I've owned both in the past and now own only vapors.

can you tell difference between cage II and ballistec 1.3? (after you have cage II)

hu I tried 1.3 and didn't like it at all compare to cage II. 1.3 upper it not flexible as cage II and narrow from front as well.

I can wear 1.5 size larger in cage II with two socks and one insole. Just simply can't imagine to do same in 1.3 because of sizing issue. It is noticeable in 1.3 about size difference. Also in 1.3 heal sleeps..not right fit for me. Vapor is too low to ground with upper brushing bone.

Cage II & BF II are best for me so far.
