That happens more than people think, but that doesn't make it any better of course.
If it's at all possible, don't take it personally. Coaches/teaching 'pros' are fallable. My guess is that they were just focused on new years activities or celebrations.
Hopefully you can get a free hour's lesson out of it or something.

I called him when I was on the court and he said that he was spacing out and wasn't coming.

Well, someone I hit with did say that he dislikes him, but I think that by getting a new coach, I'd be overreacting.

He blew you off and when called on it just dismissed you. He doesnt care if you improve or not. Get a new coach.

This was just a one time thing when he forgot that he had a session with me. I don't think that reflects that he doesn't care if I improve or not. I'd rather a second opinion before I consider getting a new coach.:shock:

Ive been were you are. I have had coaches not show and trust me its because they dont care. If he cared he would have been extremely apologetic and offered you something to make it up. He didnt he just said im spacing out and im not coming. Get a new coach.

He actually was apologetic when I called him. I think that my lesson with him will carry on next week though, or another time if we set it up. I'm still holding onto the possible that he did actually forget. This is the first time he's done this out of the around 150 times I've been to his class.

Did he not show up at his primary location, or was it to meet somewhere else? Perhaps he over extended his schedule, which happens once in a while. Like the other guy (Tazz's owner), I'm leaning more toward "get a new coach" but there may be other details we are not aware of. Good luck and hope it works out for the better.
