I'm switching from 95 to 90, cannot decide between stiffness 63 and 70. So far I'm at swingweight approx. 330, probably will go little higher. Main Isospeed Prof.17 at 61, cross SPPP 18 at 58.
What is your set-up guys?
(please, just seriously)

What was your weight you chose? I've been intrigued by Vantage lately, looking at the 90s.

Weight: 320 grams

The 11.4 oz one? Sweet, that's the one i'm looking at! Get the 63 RA so that you can give me a very accurate review :D Just kidding, i've never tried a Vantage frame so I dunno.

Why are you changing there's not a lot in the headsize, are you having trouble with the 95??

I came up from the kps88 and dont find much difference except on my f/h which seems to like the slightly larger head.

The stiffness I find in the 63ra to be slightly stiffer than norm, I think due to the short throat. Also I have full poly so Im happy for the 63 not the 70. Also again my whippier f/h prefers the softer frame.

I have a brand new 95, 70 RA for sale. Great racquet and total quality. I liked to 70 for control better then the 63RA but I have learned you never know what feel you will like in a racquet.

This is very true, partly racket, partly strings.

I have done a lot of research and domo-ing over the last 2 years and found out what kind of player i was, what i liked in a racket, balance, sw, handle shape, headsize etc, and what strings i like. Also taking into account weather conditions, surfaces etc and how some things that worked well for serve didnt work well for my forehand etc.

Then there was the feel thing. When I started to get closer the kind of racket/strings I liked I found 2 feels that I really liked. Soft flexy hoop, buttery feel and firmer, crisp, solid feel. I found that the buttery feel of some rackets was so addictive but I played better and more consistently with the firmer, crisper rackets. Hence my choice below :)

I agonised over the weight and flex.
Having always used flexy yonex players stick. I liked heavy and soft.
Yonex then brought out the RDiS100mid. 68ra seemed on paper to be a stiff
arm breaker. I finally understood what the posters had meant when they described the feeling. I played better with the stiffer RA. This is not to say it is uncomfortable. I just copied the specs of the yonex into the Vantage profile and voila, a very nice stick.
Only thing I fantasise about is the 90. Realisitically I would play better with the 95. I just love the feeling of the mids.

Well, I was always playing 90 (Yonex, Wilson, Dunlop, etc), then I switched to 95 (getting older) and that was the mistake. The 90 Sq" just feel better.
Right now I'm testing the Vantage 90/70 with gut and poly...
