Does it have still the butt cap with "Japan" ?
Finally said:Can you explain more about this racket?
rdis200 tour looks very appealing. Im excited to give it a try. I really like the rdis mid and I hope it has the excellent feel that Im looking for.
Its strange, the 100mid feels like a 95 and the midplus feels/looks like a 100. I hope the 200 isnt the same because the 100mp seemed way to big of a head size.
At the begining of the year I heard it's a Japanese release only... but I was asking about Europe so maybe USA will get it... T-Dub we're counting on you guys! Finally, he claims that the RD Ti-80 on its way is better than the one previously received in the U.S. He said the frame is filled (more solid) and along the lines of the Japanese version.

Am I correct saying that it's the only box frame Yonex in the current lineup?
And yes, the frame is very boxy...love its classic yonex look.
I hit the RQis 1 tour and putting them up together they look virtually the same. As you know the 1 tour is 95 sq inches.
What's the flex? How does the RD compare to the RQ in flex? And isn't the RDiS 200 thicker in the throat, too?
I would love / like to hit with one! Compare it to my 002 tours, hs 5i,

Charles I was referring to the Ultimum RD Ti80...
The RDiS 200 has a hexagonal cross section beam.

The new 200 looks boxier (just made up a new word, call webster) than my 1 tour so sure its boxy. That's relative to my racket at least.
I understand you're excited with the new frame and all but please do not misinform others. The RDiS 200 has a hexagonal crosssection. End of story.
Maneuverable and spin friendly, the RDiS 200 is the perfect match for players with aggressive, fast swings. Modern strikers of the ball tend to hit higher up in the stringbed and this racquet excels in feel in that area. From the baseline players will find lots of control allowing them to stay on the gas to maximize spin and pace. In typical Yonex fashion, the handle offers ample room for players with two-handed strokes. At net the racquet feels fast and easy to get around. A solid blend of comfort and feel greets the player. Theres some nice stiffness to the hoop coupled with some classic Yonex shaft flex for a combination of crisp pop and deft touch. On serve this racquet offers excellent access to spin. Control is also very impressive on serve and there's just enough power to help get first serves away. All in all a great option for the 4.0+ level player.

Yonex needs to thin this out and add more mass. It's going to feel like crap guaranteed compared to their real racquets that they stopped making long ago...gotta follow the awful trends I guess (don't be sensitive, I'm criticizing a co., not your momma). Have to give them credit for the flex and swingweight though. At least it's not nearly 70 and 330+ like the last batch of junk.
haha you display a high level of hostility.. especially for someone who can predict the future..
Very easy to predict - thick beam, too light = terrible. Not rocket science.
I don't know,.. i have hopes for the 320 gram version.. it has a chance.. maybe No company is going to produce old classics like they used too.. and even now if you hit a brand new 12 year old (unused) racket it will not feel like it would have done 12 years ago.. shame because they were better
Yeah. That's a typo... unfortunately... Yonex doesn't offer anything with a closed stringpattern... an 18x19 frame would be something new.
The flex of 61 is very, very good news!
Yep, 16x19 is the true string pattern. Just got off the phone with TW, they're going to change it soon once the web editor gets back (from lunch, presumably). Everything else looks good. I think I'm just gonna take the dive head first and order it now... despite what someone *cough Preston cough* might think should do.

Does anyone know if there is also a Tour version of this racket (or is this in fact the Tour version)?
Many thanks

UPDATE!
Just call Yonex (again). So, flex rating of an unstrung RDiS 200 is 61. Flex rating of when it's strung? 58!!! That's what the Yonex CS rep quoted from a Yonex sales rep who actually had a racquet to measure. The RDXs were rated at 58 by TW (I'm thinking that's most likely the unstrung flex). I never knew stringing affected the flex, but it makes sense, I guess.
No question. I'll like it. And I'm gonna buy it. And Preston, you'll get to try it. And you'll switch to it.
This racquet, with some lead on it, sounds orgasmic.
Demo time.
looking good - glad they got rid of the 24mm 3 and 9 beam of the RQiS1 Tour
I was wondering what yonex Monaco was playing with - he is playing good with it too.
Demos due later next week. :-( I'm ordering it first thing tomorrow. I'm just afraid after a month, they'll have a bag special and I'll miss out.
