Wimbledon 2004.

Sorry Senti, I don't have a gif. This is a very nice picture from the final though.

Thanks a lot, btw the ad shows it from the other side. Maybe one of our experts (e.g., Zildite) can oblige.

There's a Fog upon London Town
On his face he wears a frown
He's not just any Italian clown
But soon he knows he'll go down

(His plea to SexiSwissSorceror/BreadstickBaker):

"Per favore, Signor Rogi
I crave Tre Grissini
You baked for Albert Monday
Don't be long with me today!

I feel uncomfortable pulling a quote of my own (and poasting consecutively!) but I wanted to point out a thread I just started in "odds & ends" that may be of interest to all ye BOTEhands. LMK if you like the idea!

Thanks a lot Tom. I couldn't find the "odds & ends ", and I though I would ask you. How dumb of me ! Today, I was able to find the forum, but I couldn't find the thread you started. Could you please tell me the thread. I am also sorry to say that at times I don't get the acronymns. Whats LMK?

And what's BOTE?

Googling reveals "Let me know" for LMK.

There was a thread on favorite tennis court.

Thanks a lot Sentinel :) Yeah, I should have googled LMK. Somehow I assumed that it's something creative and copyrighted by Tom :)

At work. IBM Slamtracker could not keep up with the blistering pace of that match. Updated games instead of points. Can't wait to get home and feast on the legs of chickens and watch this morning's GOATing.

I was actually referring to the "Birthday Thread with a Twist" thread that is also in the Odds&Ends section.

Poor Fabio...managed only uno grissino oggi. Must not have been as hungry as Albert. SuchSwissSwiftness and efficiency...mere mortals are delayed by the WeatherGods. With his UberMensch skills, the SexiOne plays between the raindrops, avoiding delays and suspensions. SoSexi!

Fognini 'the fog' joins the BOTE <3

Fabio Fognini (http://twitter.com/#!/Fabio_Fogna)
"Non c'e' ne Djoko,ne Rafa,ne Andy,ne tutti messi insieme che giochino come RE ROGER... Mi dispiace!!!"
Roughly: "Not Djoko, not Rafa, not Andy, not all of them put together can play like KING ROGER... Sorry!!!"

Isn't this why Foggy left Foggy London Town with but one product from the SexiSwissSorcerer/BreadstickBaker, no?

the king meets the prince

I would say that Roger's kingdom is bigger than William's.(and his cough cough)

Federer the merciful Conquerer.
How humble of Federer to release his iron grip on the town of Wimbledon. With ease he could redoubled his campaign of Britannica and array his forces and conquered Eastborne Sussex (Aegon) as well. But for a decade King Federer kept himself in the germanic lands and in Halle. How kind and merciful of mighty King Federer.

What??? SexiSwissSorceror not on the list! It's a digrace, an scandal, a outrage!

Anybody feeling a little euphoria after BabyLendl's upset vs ******???
Methought that Rosol brought back recollections of Soderling in 2009 FO, personally. His giant frame, big serve, powerful groundstrokes so reminiscent of the Swede.

Luscious Lindt lingers on my fingertips as I poast in expectation of peRFection 3.0 vs the French soul singer Ben E. Toe. Having lived in France, I know of the Gallic fondness for bakery products. The SexiSwissSorcerorBreadstickBaker will gladly oblige Julien's jones for the bakery...perhaps a Basel Bagelstick awaits!

Nabully has been led back to his Mallorcan bullpen to contemplate non-clay mediocrity for a longer-than-expected mourning period. His cloven hooves paw at the earth, perhaps hoping the resodded turf for London'12 are tampered with to suit his 0.5-dimensional Dullfest style. Meanwhile, SexiTennis is on display this FabulousFeddyFriday and beyond!

Allez Rogi, Allez BOTE! Rejoice in our love for tennis and the way it should be played...with SexiStyle and EagleExcellence!

At 2-2 4th I redosed on Lindt; at 4-4 I remisted in Eau de Fed; at 5-6 I hugged SexiSaxi the Lindt-colored Spaniel puppy born a day early from SexiRogi's 27th birthday. My baby SexiSaxi will be in my lap all Set 5!

I stood by Rogi throughout the match, and I was right.

Sadly, I sinned succumbing to sleep prior to my late start for work tonight. Shameful of me to miss the first three sets! Shameful scheduling storied Wimby...consult my slumber schedule and avoid such conflicts. And you, SexiSwissSorcerorBreadstickBaker, prime those ovens a little earlier Monday...my aging heart can't handle a repeat despite my cycling regimen.

I shall now don my SexiCrew from '05 Wimby (its steel-blue trim matches my eyes so well) to display my poise under pressure as I ride through I-Drive's weekend horde of turistas, spreading the legend of EagleExcellence and SexiTennis as they hopefully throw much Eagle-adorned confetti in my direction.

Allez Rogi, Allez BOTE! Proclaim your support with your thoughts and hopes for the second week to reach a successful conclusion Sunday 7/8...seventh Wimby a fitting present earned one month prior to Eagle-bday #31. I roll with Rogi!

^^ great pic. The fighter; older but can still rise like a phoenix.
One of the nicest things about Fed victories is Mirka looking pretty when she's happy, smiling and applauding at the end..

It was harrowing, guys.

Two sets down.

Triple breakpoint at 3-3 in the 4th, and all gone.

6-5 40-40. 2 points from losing.

TB - neck to neck with JB serving better.

And no Lindt or Spaniel pups to hug!

I stood by Rogi. I had no choice. Being the night own that I am, I awoke at 11:30 a.m. to find the Maestro two sets to love down. I wasn't going to panic, knowing he had come back a fiercer foe in DelPotro in the past month, but I certainly couldn't lounge on my couch or recline in my chair knowing that Benneteau was trying to pull a Rosol. So I paced in front of the TV like a panther in a zoo exhibit until the fifth set became clear, and no French pastries were served, just a common breadstick.

I must inquire among you goodly members of BOTE: Does anyone know who the Asian woman is in Fed's box? I have seen her quite a few times before, and she seems very close to the Federer family. I also wonder what happens when the Federer box fills up. Is there a hierarchy. No doubt, the coaches, Mirka and the parents have seats for every match, but then whom? Are Anna Wintour and Gavin Rossdale forced to fight it out for the remaining seats? If so, it appears Anna won (and I'm not surprised).

I believe the mystery woman is a nanny for the twins.

I thought each twin had her own nanny. This lady was never seen with the twins. She could be a friend or sister of Mother Federer.

Or she could be mandy01? :D

Dear Rommil, I don't know how to create gifs and stuff. I think Hood_man and PCXL are the gurus, and wait .. ZILDITE is the man for the job. And btw, i've been missing your poasts, I was afraid you might have actually found what they call "a life" somewhere in this wild, dangerous world.

It seems Anna has bumping rights lol. The Paris fashion week for menswear has been going on the last few days and Anna prob ditched some of the shows to watch the sexiclass Eaglenessswissmeister . Anna never fistpumps while reviewing the runway show. I bet she also eats haggis in her pajamas on Sunday afternoons at home:)

My bad...IIRC I saw her with one of the twins in her lap earlier this year during a match (IW?) and inferred the role from that. As in SDL, one wrong and you're done so I'm out of guesses.

So the mystery of the Federer box continues.

Someone should friend Roger's dad on Facebook so we can get answers on who all these people are.

As middle Sunday approaches we take a lull to reminisce, thank the Poape for the seed of the Eagle thread and maybe pick out one or more relevant offerings to Wimby and SexiTennis. Mine is #215...I can't rebump due to its length and my iPhone's tiny scroll capacity. Review or rebump if you're motivated. Also, I wrote a "Words of Wimby" poem but lost track of it (this thread maybe???). Senti, you complimented me at the time. Do you know where it's stored? The work ain't Colin-level or nearly like l'oeuf de Joel. We can't all be Rogi-like geniuses.
