Fake ?

Yes, came to say the same, APDGT owner here and the cortex system is "glued" too, is not 1 part. That is a real APDGT.
The question is Why you think is fake? don't like how it hits or something?

I think there is some hidden agenda here that may become apparent in time. This smacks of someone that thinks they are being terribly clever. (or someone who is so dumb it beggars belief)

So yeah, I checked at my shop today.

1) Cortex is split like yours. A-OK on that part.
2) Paintjob matches and it's glossy/matte in the correct areas around the throat.
3) Staples are apparent inside the handle.

Everything checks out with brand new from Babolat Aero Pro Drives. I literally could not tell the difference from ones in my pro shop, to the one you have pictures of.

because I want to know . ..

Dude you've got like 20 people telling you it's real... I'm not sure what you're expecting at this points.

You sound like a paranoid little brat... Even if it is fake, what's the difference, just play the freaking game...

Also, one sure way to tell if it's fake is if it's head heavy. A stock legit Aero Pro Drive will be head light.

To the O.P, I've owned lots of APDs over the years and I know yours is definitely a fake:

-the yellow is not the right shade of yellow. It appears from your pics that it is Pantone 14-0957 Spectra Yellow. Genuine APDs utilise Pantone 14-0756 Empire Yellow
-the fontsize of the words "Cortex System" should be 8pt. The size pictured on your racket is 6pt.
-there appears to be a double application/coat of silver paint. This is clear evidence the frame is non-genuine and may have been resprayed.

Ask your mom or dad to raise a claim with the seller. It's always heartbreaking to see kids lose their money over a fake racket. I'm sure you will learn from it.

Seriously, from my first post I told you the racket is authentic. And you just confirmed it by opening the butt cap. You have a clean divider with staples. The fake babolat has nails not staples. And the cortex system is like that on all babolats, regardless its just a piece of plastic anyways that babolat supposedly says is their dampening system. You can even remove it. I'll say this again for the last time, your racket is authentic. Now quit worrying and go hit

You are making the assumption that all the fakes are made in the same place with the same materials.
Why not use staples instead of nails, it looks more like the real thing and cost the same or less.
Counterfeiting is an art form.

I’m going to stir the pot and say it is a fake.

I will be glad when Nadal retires and we never see these rackets ever again.

Go get a fake one and look at the bottom three cross strings, that is the most obvious tell.

Why do you say it is an art form? More like a slap of paint on a cheap mold. Even the holes are drilled in the wrong place. I have only seen one frame in 10 years I knew was fake but couldn't say why, a K90.
