Vandy leads LSU 3-2 and they are on serve at 1 and 6. If Simpson beats Lipman at 1 Vandy is in trouble.

FSU fights back on all courts. 1-3 won 2nd sets after dropping the first.

What a match! 5 matches will go into an intense 3rd set. 50/50 all around

FSU wins. 1-3 rally from a set down to win their matches. Big win for the Noles.

Alabama giving Ole Miss all they want. Could come down to Tsangarides and Lindmark at 4.

Edit: uh oh, Kenyon can't close the door at 6.

Ole Miss squeaked it out. Not sure if that says more about Ole Miss or Alabama. Lutjen not playing like the #5 player in the land.

What is going on here ? only few months away from NCAA championships in Illinois, they still don't have the webcam up and working. I am not sure if they will get it up and running in time ?

For starters, the NCAA tournament will be played outside. Considering that it's 25 and snowing in Champaign right now, i'm not sure what good you think a webcam would do. I'm not a webcam expert, but my hunch is snow and wind and probably bad things.

Weather or not, we have come to expect poor coverage of college tennis (except at Nordstrom Tennis Center - shout out).
I hope we are not just relying on twitter for updates, but things I hear make me wonder...

I'll be surprised if it it up by then. Even if there is a scoreboard or live stats, you can never really trust it until one of the schools post the official results on their webpage. Really pathetic. It is what it is.

Computer has put Indiana a little below where we deserve to be, I think the fight back begins tomorrow with a 4-3 win over Harvard

Jags, IU lost to Harvard today 4-3. You got a win at #6 singles but lost at 1, 4, 5, and dubs.

Lot of tight matches today in the SEC. Texas A&M leads Florida 2-1 but the Gators are charging and lead in 3 of the 4 remaining matches. Alabama took dubs over Miss St. Ole Miss came from behind to take dubs over Auburn.

Washington looks like it's packing it in - dropped the doubles point and all 6 1st sets to a Minnesota team that had been struggling.

Heartbreak for Alabama in dropping a 3rd set tiebreak in the deciding match for the 2nd day in a row.

Ole Miss beat Auburn 4-3 despite dropping 1, 2, and 3 singles. Auburn was up 7-5 at #3 doubles and lost 4 straight to lose the doubles point in the deciding match.

There is very little separation between the SEC teams this year and there is going to be a lot of 4-3 matches every week. Kentucky and Georgia are 1 and 2 then you've got that secondary pack of Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, Florida, Auburn, and Alabama that is pretty even. LSU, South Carolina, and Arkansas bring up the rear.

Gators get the mild upset over aTm with Alford winning the 3rd set TB 7-3.

Most exciting part was the 5 match. Watson trailed 6-3 in the 2nd set breaker and won 5 straight points to knot the overall match at 3-all.

Pleasantly surprised at the outcome. Didn't expect Diep to beat Harrison Adams. That was key. Also didn't expect Efferning to come back on Piro after eating a first set bagel.

Also think the cold temps helped the Gators. Courts played a little slower today.

Big SEC matches next weekend with TN and UGA traveling to MS for the Starkville/Oxford 2-step

I'm taking the day off work on Friday to go to Oxford for the UGA/Ole Miss match. Weather is supposed to be sunny and 65. Looking forward to another close SEC match.

TA&M-CC is clearly under ranked. South Alabama has had a history of consistant top #75 rankings.

TAMCC is a solid team that is well coached. But, those wins against MT and BYU were also in tornado like wind at HEB in Corpus. It is EXTREMELY hard to play there this time of year and they have a huge advantage against visitors. Never seen a team lob better in wind.

I know you get to see a lot of Vandy, living near Nashville. If Austin gets back to top form, looks like they may have a chance to be a top 16 type team.

Vandy has looked good so far but they haven't faced the toughest competition. Lipman, Gonzales, and Yee are all very solid - they can play with anyone in the country at their respective spots. Rhys Johnson has gone from playing 3 to dropping out of the lineup all together so that's been a little disappointing. Van der Merwe and Offerdahl have looked good but neither is going to win consistently right now at the 3 spot. Kovrigin hasn't had a chance to finish many matches since he always goes on last playing indoors (only 5 courts) so he isn't exactly battle tested. Vandy is probably one more blue chipper away from really making some noise.

The Texas A&M match on Friday will be a benchmark to see how far they've come.
