Just my two cents on a few things fwiw.
1. In my experience, the issue on the P1 isn't the paint quality per se, but design, and placement of the decals. It's the silver decals that are easily chipped off, not the black paint. Because it is a minimalist design, any little dings and chips are all the more visible, there's nothing else to draw the eye. So ... you've got a very poorly placed graphic element in my opinion.
2. I've seen paint that is much tougher and less chip prone for sure, but that 3:00 and 9:00 PM location is eventually going to get scraped up no matter what. It's the spot that always gets rash from digging out low volleys. I would much prefer the design of the early release X-Dual Pro which have the Donnay lettering at 3 and 9, but only on the inside of the hoop.
3. A good fit with the lettering on the inside of the hoop would be a lightweight caps style grommet. Volkl made a single bumper that wraps all the way around on the Tour 10 MP Gen I, but it was more conventional on the outside edge. Rather than the small slit, it is entirely open for easy stringing. Something like that would be a welcome addition.
4. If there's going to be a version II, would be awesome to see it a tad lower sw and more head light. Dozens of peeps on this board have ditched this frame even though they love it, because it swings just a tad too heavy at around 327sw. I don't think that's a unique experience to TT users, I think they'd sell much better if SW was around 315-320, and 6-8 points HL
