brothers and sisters, don't forget that the golden bull comes from a funny (and humble of course) family that loves to make hilarious jokes...

Like what?, lol
Toni hoping/trusting Fed and Novak to get injured of course. We both know I've pointed the "mistake" in the translations you've posted. Hell, I even posted the link to the actual conference where he said it, and pointed to the exact moment at that.

I'm not going to argue with you anymore. You have your resource and other people have their own resources. Again, I'm not translating anything except getting the direct quotes from the author.

Now I just remember, tennissportsrog had a thread that has an ATP article that stated Nadal said Sampras/Goran is not really tennis.

You do notice that article is the same mistranslated article this thread is about to begin with, right?.

No, sorry, but there is THE original source, a conference given by Toni in a prison. The video has been posted, and the moment pointed out, as has been the exact word used and its translation. Your sources are obviously a mistranslation of that. Just accept it. Have some minimal intellectual honesty.

So Nadal expressed a personal preference. That's fine. But he then went on to say that "the entire world" shares the same preference (for today's long rallies). We should all thank him for deciding for us what we like or not...

Regardless of his personal preferences, it was a bit of a silly thing for Nadal to say. Still not nearly as bad as some of the stuff guys like Wilander have come out with.

I think the balls have changed more than the court. We will never know if Nadal would have been successful on different grass or HC, but we do know that he pretty much wouldn't lose on clay - and taking that into consideration and the age at which he began to dominate he would probably be considered the best of the 90's; besides Andre he would also probably be one of the best returners.

His problem on faster courts would not be beating the best, it would be beating them back-to-back in terms of running into someone who is ridiculously hot. He only has 2-3 legit threats right now. Also because of this he would have to play much longer.

Just think, this whole thing could have been condemned to ancient worthless history but now it's as contentious and ludicrous as ever.

A simple mistake in translating.

Happened, can still happen: Look at the words of Ahmadinedschad.

Bumping for the sake of Omega :)

There's no need to bump this old thread unless you are insecure.
You trolling punk, who are you to call anyone that?

You, who tries to portray yourself as one who only "discusses tennis" but who in fact (the above as an example) is more concerned with stalking others here, and who is more concerned with personal "fanboy issues."

What a . . p-u-n-k . . punk.
