Wow, it's been a while since this thread has been used. Difficulty differs. Try not to use Google! :D

1. Who holds the record for most aces in a single tournament?

2. What is the longest match ever played at the French Open?

3. What is the longest 3 set match in the Open Era?

4. Who has the most 5 set match wins?

5. Which surface did Roger Federer have his best winning streak on?

10. Who recorded the most DFs in a single match?

Answers here

Alrighty, we seem to have some trivia buffs in the house, so some more:

Medium one:
Can you recall the final tiebreak scores for the following sets:
- Fed vs. Nad WIM 2008 4th set
- Fed vs. Sod RG 2009 2nd set
- Fed vs. Djo Canada 2007 1st set

Medium one:
What is Federer's current official ATP all-time prize money (across all forms of the game) to within a million dollars?

Hard one:
Which bottle does Nadal prefer to place down first at the beginning of a match? (water or orange?)

10-8 for the Fed/Nadal match.
Go with 7-1 for the Fed/Soderling TB. Well known for a dominant TB with aces galore.
Can't remember the Fed/Djoker won. 7-4?

Around $90,000,000.

Never paid attention, lol. Lets go with Orange.

1. Muster. Hardly ever played.
2. Rafter at 1 week.
3. All I know is a Doubles final with Connors and someone else, where they left early.
4. Dunno. Ivo broke his record with 45 aces against Berdych this year, but that's for a single guy.
5. Ivanisevic. Broke his 3 racquets he had, and is the only player ever to forfeit a match this way, lmao.

1. In the last 21 Grand Slam finals (since 2010 US Open final), there was only one case where one of the finalists managed to hold his serve throughout the entire final. Name the player who did that, as well as the Slam event and its year.
2. How many times has Nadal lost on clay in his entire career? Bonus: Name 5 players that defeated him on clay more than once.
3. Name the most decorated player(s) at all of the current 9 Masters.

2. 30 losses. You got the players right.
3. Correction on Paris. It is Djokovic. Everything else is correct.

Djokovic def. Murray - Australian Open 2013. I don't remember him dropping serve there. Whereas Nadal definitely got broken once in RG 2013 and Novak got broken in AO 2011
@Doctor/Lawyer Red Devil ?

That one and AO 2015 were going to be my last guesses since Djokovic lost a set in both, but they were TB's. Also, playing Murray at the Aussie, you figure he'd break at least once.

Cool! Let's try the parts 2 &3 now:

2. I'm going to say 29 losses.
As for the 5 players:
Federer - Hamburg 2007, Madrid 2009
Djokovic - Madrid and Rome 2011, Monte Carlo 2013, Rome 2014, Monte Carlo and RG 2015
Ferrer - Stuttgart 2004 and Monte Carlo 2014
Fognini - Barcelona and Rio 2015
Gaudio - can't remember where, but I'm sure he's done it twice (one weird one as well which was 0-6, 6-0, 6-1)

3. Tricky one:

Indian Wells - Federer & Djokovic tied with 4
Miami - Agassi 6 times
Monte Carlo - Nadal 8 times
Madrid - Nadal 3 times since the slot change
Rome - Nadal 7 times
Toronto/Montreal - No Idea
Cincinnati - Federer 7 times
Shanghai - Djokovic 3 times since the slot change
Paris - Djokovic 4 times

(Okay... so I definitely did have to look up MC '82... one source says that he did indeed play that one tournament in '82, losing to Noah. It adds that Borg's retirement announcement in 1983 was actually followed by another MC in '83 and Stuttgart in '84. Don't know how he performed at these.)

I've not got a clue either. Apparently he lost every match in his attempted comeback in 1990 as well - never the same player after '81.

John McEnroe beat him in the US Open Final in 4 sets that year, but I think his last "proper" match was in Monte Carlo 1982 (lost to Yannick Noah)

According to his ATP stats, he went on to play in these tournaments but lost every time in the 1st round mostly in straight sets to nobodies.

1983: played Monte Carlo(lost to Leconte in R 1).
1984: played Stuttgart (lost to Leconte (again) in R1).

Didn't play for the next 7 years and then attempted some sort of comeback:

1991: played Monte Carlo (lost to Arrese in R1).
1992: played 8 tournaments: Nice (lost to Delaitre in R1), Monte Carlo (lost to Ferreira in R1),Munich (lost to Prpic in R1),Washington (lost to Hogstedt in R1),Los Angeles (lost to Pridham in R1),Bordeaux (lost to Medvedev in R1),Basel (lost to Kulti in R1), Toulouse (lost to Roux in R1).
1993: played 3 tournaments: San Francisco (lost to Oncins in R1), Zaragoza (lost to Cunha-Silva in R1), Moscow (lost to Volkov in R1).

It was a sad conclusion to what had been such a brilliant career!

He should smash one on court now as well - it would do him the world of good.
And it might even get rid of Tio Toni for him as Toni was the one who said he'd never coach him/teach him anything if he smashed another racket in his life

Didn't Nadal deny that? Something like 6 or so racquets in the locker room after the match. It would have been strange to watch. I have seen Rafa think about smashing a racquet a few times, but ultimately never do it.
