Switched from nSix-One to Dunlop AG200? anyone?

I currently play with an nSix-One strung with Babalot Pro Hurricane 16 @ 65lbs. I am a big, strong player, and I like the extra tension. I remembered using a Dunlop Revelation Braided XL a long time ago and started looking at Dunlops and like the specs on the AG200, it's a good looking stick...

    kSix-One v. nSix-One?

I am a decent player. I have a huge serve that runs far past the rest of my game, in terms of development (serving was the one thing I could always practice by myself...), and I have been playing for a few years now. I have a couple nSix-One 95s that I really like. Since they came out, I've had...

FAKE Asian nCode and who knows what else...

I had posted about the other one MasturB had mentioned the guy was selling. The seller emailed me privately and said it was still available. Yeah, well, it wasn't going to replace my nSIXONE 95 anyway. I just wanted a n90 to mess around with. I guess I'll just wait and maybe demo a k95X and...

FAKE Asian nCode and who knows what else...

OK wow... this board is the END ALL of things in the world, so I'll apologize to you, Sir. You are of sound character. I'd buy you a stringing if I ever met you. I'd shake your hand and look you straight in the eyes and truly ask your forgiveness... But seriously, didn't mean to electronically...

FAKE Asian nCode and who knows what else...

I really don't give a crap about BreakPoint. Either way, don't buy from the other guy I mentioned. He definitely posted a different picture of the inside of the handle. The one he sent has huge nails all through it. Plus I called Wilson and gave them the Ser# and they had no record of it.

FAKE Asian nCode and who knows what else...

That's why I was asking. He went on and on about how much of a perfect 10 the racquet was and then got banned. Just seemed strange. Sorry to any BP fans out there...

FAKE Asian nCode and who knows what else...

DO NOT buy anything from Bo Peng, sbny888@yahoo.com. Whom I also assume is "Tennis Crazy" and "jmks8888" and "sw2ny888." There are suspicious posts in the FS section by him. I bought what I thought was an authentic Asian nCode 6.1 Tour 90 from him. It looked good upon arrival, but upon closer...

    Asian nCode Tour 90s...

Anyone have a link to pics of AUTHENTIC versions of this racquet? Could someone playing with one post some details? Just curious. What's the best way to verify the authenticity of one of these Asian racquets? Weighing? Thanks. DK

    "powerful" players racquets

Yes. I was on a regular lifting schedule for a long time, but around the holidays I'd gotten off of it, while I was on this hiatus, I made it a point to do this simple routine (which itself has increased) and I still do it: Every day, when I would get ready to take a shower, I did 20 push...

    Redondo...

Can't we all just hit along? Sorry, needed humor—even bad humor.

    Redondo...

So what tension do you string your Redondo at? It's more flexible than a nSix-One 95, so how did you compensate when you made the switch? What advantages have you noticed in switching? Less harsh on the arm, I would think.

    Redondo...

Where is the Buckhead location? I'd like to check it out sometime. I usually hit up the Steve Reynolds one. You guys need to start carrying Babalot Pro Hurricane Tour, too!

    Redondo...

Huh...that's funny. Great minds is all I can say, but yeah... I've read all of the cult-like following comments about these racquets and am very interested. Do most places still carry them? I shop at PGA Tour Superstore a lot and the best part about it is, they have a full indoor tennis court...

    Redondo...

So, I've gotten caught up in the hype of this message board somewhat... I had never heard of a Redondo before, and took a look. Looks like a pretty sweet racquet and I might try one out in the future. So... Can I get some yays or nays? Rave on

    K-rappy Design... (Opinion, of course)

Well, to compare this corporate object (which likely underwent 5-6 design proposals) to a Jackson Pollock (expressive and chaotic, what Pollock described as "mutual exchanges, conversations with his canvas") is a stretch, but I won't get into a battle about subjective aesthetics, art history and...

    K-rappy Design... (Opinion, of course)

I always thought the Dunlop Revelation Braided XLs were cool looking. They let all the braided graphite show through the clear coat, which was the coolest part because from a distance they just looked black/grey with green trim. But then you see it up close and it's all ballistic looking. (By...

    K-rappy Design... (Opinion, of course)

Well, it's just that the thing about any kind of simple, classy design (i.e. PS 6.0) is that it retains a dignity that prevents something from looking "dated." I think we can all agree that the K racquets look very modern, but so did this when it was launched... So did this guy... But...

    K-rappy Design... (Opinion, of course)

Yeah... I think the throats are nice, but the upper half of the designs are the busy parts, of course. I didn't realize they were matte finish. Matte's always a nice touch. I'm sure they'll grow on whomever uses them. There's always a balance between comfort and looks (except for women and their...

    At what level .....

I agree with this. When I finally started to focus on getting better, becoming more than just a once-in-a-while, whatever player, and I decided to buy a new racquet to make MY racquet, I demoed some and went with the nSix-One 95 16x18. It just seemed like the current standard all-around model...

    Tension question...

Well, as far as feel goes... I string high for more control. I finally started taken lessons to refine my game, and my instructor was trying to rein in my natural power (I have a big build and generate plenty on my own) and I just got used to the tension. I like how solid it hits and the poly...

    Tension question...

I usually play with an nSix-One 95 16x18 with Pro Hurricane Tour @ 65 lbs. (I realize this is in my signature...but anyway)... I bought one of the Asian n90s for sale on here for the sake of having one (I mean, it's almost a classic racquet now after all the wins logged on them, esp. by Mr...

    K-rappy Design... (Opinion, of course)

I'm a graphic designer by trade. One of the things that makes the Original Pro Staffs classic, along with the usual player's attributes of feel and control, etc., was their simplicity. Carbon black and oxford stripes. That's it. Even classier typography is used. The PJs on the new K Factor...

SW and Flex measurements of K6.1 Tour 95 and 95X

Sounds like the resurrection of the Hyper Pro-Staff 5.0 MP Stretch. I might have to pick up one of these... Anyone know what the price will probably be? I assume $180 if history holds true to recent "studies."

    wilson prices dropped

Yeah, the pro at the PGA Tour Superstore said that Wilson will keep the nCode line going though. This he said, after I noticed the price drop of the n90 and asked if it would get any cheaper. He said they'd continue to carry those racquets, but he might not know what he's talking about.

    Wilson Pro Overgrip

I like the white Pro Overgrip b/c it's like the blue stripe they started putting in toothbrushes. Once the whiteness starts to get dirty enough, I know I should really consider changing it. It might be slightly tacky still, but it's always better to me to have a fresh one to maximize the quality...

    Using Two Racquets...

I am a solid 3.5-4.0 player. I use a OHBH and have a big 1st serve (it's the only thing I could always practice consistently alone growing up, playing recreational tennis only getting serious about improving in the past few months, really making it a passion. I have been using an nSix-One 95 for...

shoe recommendation - 12 EE What are some good wide shoes

Adidas a3 Prevail is a good choice for a roomier forefoot. They require little break-in to feel ready for a long match. They are a good blend of stability and lightweight performance. I usually wear 2Es in my running shoes (Asics) and these shoes were great for me.

    New Air Oscillate problems

OK. I have to make an amendment to my original post. Though I incurred some very painful effects of these shoes early on—after playing in them for the first time, I took my right shoe off to find a blood stain the size of a half dollar soaked into the sock at my right toe's biggest joint—I...
