    @Zhou: thanks, my book listed a cross tie grommet, I was tying there, but the main at that spot is really close to the frame, making it difficult. Maybe I'll try a different spot next time.

    thanks everyone. It is a Kblade, and I'm pretty sure the tie on the cross is right, but I'll double check. The knots are loose, but that's just my inexperience showing. I didn't want to pull too hard on them for fear of weakening the string. Any tips on getting those knots tighter?
