well yes. However, there is then a dramatic drop in terms of bounce after the ball hits. I obviously don't want to sacrifice my back, but I don't want opponents to just attack my second serve.

I felt the Babolat Drives were a comfy fit though the color scheme wasrather dull. It was comparable to today's SFX series.
