12 racket bags experience

Hi folks,

My trusted old Babolat monster bag (12 rackets) reached the point where it had to be thrown away.
Never thought that I would be looking for reviews on bags, as this should be a fairly easy product.
Yet, the Pro Kennex bag that I ordered as replacement has to be sent back.
One of the shoulder straps opens at will, so I can't carry it over the shoulders, due to a piece of defective plastic.
Additionally, the zipper from racket compartments seems to be broken, as it as well started to open in the middle, well, not in the middle, but you know when you close the zipper and all of a sudden it is open somewhere.
Looks like the zipper of the other big compartment will follow same pattern, and and the zipper of the side pocket as well.
When asked, thankfully TWE instructed me to send the bag back to them, and now I have a choice between taking a replacement Pro Kennex bag or ordering an alternative.

Don't want to spend 100 EUR on a bag, so looking for a good quality bag at decent price.

What are your experiences, are you happy with the your bag? would you buy it again now if you had to replace it?

I am looking at Head Gravity 12 Rackets Bag
Dunlop CX Team 12-Pack Bag Black
Tecnifibre range of bags
should I give another try to Pro Kennex? perhaps it was a 1 faulty unit that can happen to any manufacturer?

Or am I over doing it and should I simply order another Babolat bag even if I don't agree with the price?

I love the Babolat Pure 12 racquet bags - i have two atm.
it is wide and tall enough to be able to put in/take out racquets easily. the shoe compartment is handy too, so my caps/spare clothes does not stink of my feet in the middle compartment.. lol
the 2 x thermo side compartments are handy too. i usually carry 2 to 4 racquets (on one side), so the other thermo compartment keeps my drinks/water cold, especially for the warmer/indoor sessions.

PS - the new PD blue bag looks cool!

I love my Babolat Wimbledon 12-pack. It's well padded, the outer shell is stiff enough to give it good enough structure and enough small pockets for good organization. The older Aero bags had a hard shell on both sides which I thought was a great touch and really helps with durability and protection. Not sure if the current ones have a hard shell. The shoulder strap padding could be better when compared to other bags that have fully length padding but a couple of seat belt pads can fix that.

I also have a Technifibre 15R and it's very big but I wish it has more structure because when I only put 3 sticks in it, it sags when I have it on my back; Not a good look :p While it is padded in the right places, it's really designed to be fully loaded.

Overall, I've been very happy with Babolat bags and I think they're rugged enough, stylish and user friendly. I've used 4 different ones thru the years (I'm a gear nerd). If you're the type that buys a bag to use into the ground, IMO, I think it's worth it to pay for something you like and has the durability you need to last that long.

TW-US site frequently has sales so perhaps the European sister site does as well. Your Pro Kennex situation could just be a 1-off but I personally would move away if I'm not in love with that bag as I'm sensitive to 1st impressions on quality as well as overall quality/reliability. All depends on your value judgement.

I love my Babolat Wimbledon 12-pack.
It looks great on week 1.... lol
Gets stained easily... so mine is being used for storage for now.
I found a NOS black and neon red 12 pack (for the gen 1 pure strike) to replace the 2019 Wimby one.

I have the Bab white/orange bag from this year as well and I love it.

I also have an older (2015 or so) Wilson Burn bag.

Both are 12-15 racquet bags.

IMO Bab and Wilson make the best bags, would never consider a ProKennex bag. Maybe that's my loss. But no reason to go outside those brands IMO, although the Head Djoko bags look nice.

+1 on the Babolat Pure bags 12 pack! They are simply nr 1 at the moment. Now when the new Pure bags are out I guess you can find the old pure bags to a very good price

I've got a Head Radical Monstercombi and that's seen use over the past 3 years, never had anything wrong with it and it didn't break the bank like I'm seeing with other brands these days.

Been considering the Head Gravity Monstercombi as my next bag as well, although I have to say I find TWE prices to be very expensive compared to some of the other online retailers in the UK, although I guess it evens out with the current 30% deal (except I'd need to buy 2 more items :cautious:).

I know Michelle's been mentioning that the new range of Tennis Warehouse bags should be coming soon, so they could be good value option.

Solinco Tour Team 15 Pack!!! Best Bag I've EVER owned!!! If I need to bring a some what smaller bag, then my Babolat 12 pack fills the bill. Got this bag new for 50 bucks when TW was having incredible covid online sales.
