OK my bag is in. Definitely roomier that the TF Tour 9-pack it replaces. The quality of the material and construction are really first rate. It is even better looking in the flesh.
The EBS system is just slightly different that the Tour bags in that it does not have the yoke that goes over the neck & shoulders, but the feel is just as good. If anything, the padding down the top of the center section is more heavily padded than the Tour, comfort was an obvious priority. It is far superior to a regular strap setup. There is a soft carrying handle, unlike the Tour bags.
The outer racquet compartments are well padded, but not a hard shell. Racquets are well protected. There is a small hanging zippered section in the center of one of the outer compartments. The small outer compartment (for personal items) is adequately sized for its use. The opening to the separate shoe/wet compartment still opens wide and deep like on the Tour -- the easy access is something I have always liked. The compartment is vented, too. The center (main) compartment is roomy. The VO2 Max does not have the hard "floor" like the Tour bags did. The bottom of the bag seems to have some padding. The zipper grabs (the only flaw I found in the Tour series) are solid metal with a rubberized finish; they are large and solid. Zippers look fine and, like the Tour bags, have the covering to keep them from being exposed when closed.
The outer part of the bag bottom side does not plastic feet like the Tour. It is, however, much more robust and made from thicker, stronger material. The large "Tecnifiber" imprinted on the bottom looks sharp.
That's about it. It is striking looking and it is clear that TF spec'd the highest grade materials to create an extremely functional bag. Better in every respect that I can think of than the Tour bags (which were sweet bags to begin with). Worth every cent IMO.
