I have to disagree with you here.

Would you call Djokovic hitting that winner against Federer at USO 2011 stupid also, since he just went for it and it was a low percentage hit?

Bubbles definitely has improved his mentality. So much in common with Kyrgios: a lot of poor, low-percentage improvisation but great anticipation and recovery AFTER each terrible ball. He would do so much better just playing steady ball off both wings.

That said, Novak absolutely murders this mediocrity.

I don’t think Djokovic will be to worried overall. Bublik has his highs and fab tennis at times but he makes way too many errors as well.
