2HBH Grip

I'm a right-handed player with a two-handed backhand. What's the grip used for the dominant right hand? I've been using continental. It is the same grip I use for volley's and serves, except for the backhand I just add my left hand. Is this correct?

Also, what is the grip for my left hand on the 2HBH?

there are a lot of combos. a common one is semi western on left, continental on right or eastern on left, continental on right. double eastern is also fairly popular and some lazy people just use semi western and semiwestern but i find it uncomfortable.

i use eastern fh grip on the left hand (non-dominant) and continental with the right. i find this grip easier to generate topspin but still retain a good ability to flatten out the shot.

I use a moderate Continental for my right dominant hand (little bit close to eastern forehand) and then an abbreviated Semiwestern grip for my left non-dominant hand (that also is close to a eastern forehand, but still more of a semi-western grip). Also, for my right hand, my palm is halfway off the handle, thereby extending my contact point and giving me more racquet speed and power......

It feels very natural and I can hit flat with significant power and with some reasonable degree of topspin. Not that much much topspin, however, which is fine with me since it fits my game..........

I had tried to use a full semi-western for my left hand over the years and I would occasionally hit some beautiful topsin deep shots, but I would also hit short or hit into the net quite often. Just not as consistent as my flatter version..........
