Agassi's new racket

I was watching AA take it to Chela, and I decided his racket was either the new tour (100 ") Radical, or the Instinct with a paint job. I'm sure it's 100' and not his 107" radical. What do you all think..

It's the Liquidmetal Instinct with Lead, customized for him..(and flexpointpaint in matches)
In the train this week he played it without the paint..

Head goes through a lot of trouble for Agassi:
1) LM Instinct
2) customize
3) paint like Flexpoint Radical

why paint it like flexpoint rad when they have flexpoint instinct? is Agassi only one besides Ferrero who uses flexpoint radical paint jobs?

It's not the Radical OS for sure, my friend who sells many head rackets tells me it's the Instinct flex point. I saw in a closeup just now that the flexpoint is real, as you can see the grooves where the flexpoint is, so it's not painted on.

Look this pic, the "flexpoint holes" are really fake.

It says in TW that the new racquet he uses is the Radical OS so quit lyin'!

Sorry buddy, I owned six OS Radicals a few yrs back, and the head shape is totally different than the 107" OS. The head is 100' for sure, and as far as the flexpoint holes I couldn't tell, but did see the grooved out sides on a closeup. Really no big deal just a conversation piece.

YES thats the worst aprt!! i got it too but i got the oversize because of agassi.....if you dontr believe me heres the PAt.Nos. on my racquet: US 4.974.845 and EP 262.117 he racquet is awesome but i was disapointed when i found out agassi wasnt using it. If you take a close look the racuqet doesnt have the LM ridges.

It's a custom version of the FPRad OS, no use playing the he will never switch game with AA - he switches strings, tension, racquets all the time - Jay Schweid and Brad Gilbert confirm this

i seriously think this should be disallowed... if agassi isn't using Head's racquets, he shouldn't be cashing in on the endorsement deals, and if agassi is getting paintjobs, TW shouldn't be able to say that FP Radical OS is agassi's weapon of choice... your average consumer who didn't know so much inside information would think, "Well, I don't know what's a good racquet, but since Agassi uses it, this racquet can't limit my abilities!" This is not fair... false advertisement...

the fact is that they are allowed to say that because that is what head tells them. look at safin's racquet. we all established it was a paintjob liquid metal prestige by pictures someone supplied. thanks whoever that was. agassi definately uses a paintjob and not the same racquet that is advertised. it is a head though because it would go against the contract to not use a head.

You guys should search this board--keyword "Paintjob".

I was fooled once too. Sorry they got you--they sell a lot of racquets that way.

I think AA uses a custom mold, but if you want to be like him, you'll need more than his racquet...

definetly no indent where the flexpoint holes are suppose to be do we need any more proof.

it looks like the same racket he's been using since 1993 (with the exception of the instinct for the clay season and the first couple days of practice for this last tournament) with a flexpoint radical paintjob. as people have said in the past, it's likely either the original (black and yellow) radical or a custom frame. it's not a prince graphite without the crossbar. it's not a donnay pro one (head shape and beam width are not the same). it's not a flexpoint radical. since the beginning of the year, he's used this (current) racket, lm instinct, and lm instinct w/ flexpoint radical paintjob.

I saw Andre practicing last Sat. at UCLA with a real Instinct. It was probably his last day wearing Nike apparel too.
it is very reasonable andre uses and instinct to train cause it has more power and less control so he has to put the extra control to it himself so then he uses a more control racuqet at the court!

That would make it very difficult to practice with one stick and then when game time comes to use a completely different stick.

He is getting older and simply can't keep using the same stuff end of story.

Our game evolves as we get older and our equipment changes, same with the pros.

There is only on secrect in tennis, that is that whatever works for you, end of story, you just need to find it.
