AHH what should I do!

i really, really REALLY like the feel of my klip legend 16 mains with alu ruff crosses setup but...IT BREAKS IN 3.5 HOURS (62 ib) making it way to expensive and anoying to string all the time.
what im looking for is a replacement that will play as similiar as possible( i know its hard to find something as great as gut) so im just looking for your guys opinions on what to string my racquets with

ya but my friend told me that they do add durability but when im breaking strings in 3.5 hours it'll only add another 2 or so im looking for something much more durable like 15-20 hours (i used to get this durability with poly mains syngut crosses but it feels to stiff and low powered for me now :? )

Get rid of the "Rough". Try a smooth poly instead. It won't hurt your spin at all if you've got fairly good technique.

A agree. Add string savers and get rid of "rough". I haven't used Alu but just bought a reel of Blue Gear. This stuff is designed to eat strings - I haven't had the heart to use it with my nat gut..

You're not going to get a gut/poly setup to last as long as poly/syn gut, no matter what you do. Considering poly/synthetic hybrids lasted you 15-20 hours, you'll be lucky to find a combination that lasts you 6-7 hours with gut/poly.

Turn it around. Rough strings in the crosses is asking for trouble. Put the Klip legend in the crosses and see how long it lasts.

thanks guys im just going to do a few things in a hope of making my setup last longer:
-15L klip instead of 16
-try to trade in my 5 sets of rough for smooth
-string savers!

and if that doesn't add another few hours il stick klip in the crosses and lower the tension of the mains
