All-Time Grouping OPEN ERA (Outdoor Hard)

This is a series I'll be doing with regards to all-time players per surface, then tournaments.

The result will be a grouping of tiers by virtue of talktennis to see what we get.

This isn't surface specialists, so Gustavo Kuerten doesn't get on here for clay because he didn't have enough success elsewhere. However all-time players who never won on the particular surface do not make it on the candidates list, so it won't be the same 10 candidates across the board.


The Question For 1st Round:
In 3 best of 5 set matches, all players match-up, who do you favour ON OUTDOOR HARD?
When judging across eras, you must give favoured equipment to each player in a match and a neutral situation for both in a 3rd match if concluding they'd split on their terms.

Pick your top 5 out of 10 to move on to 2nd Round.

The best surface of all with something in it for everyone, generally slightly favouring the attacking player.

I'd have thrown Becker in ahead of Wilander on the short list and despite the absence of a slam, Borg belongs.

Hardest surface to limit to just 10 players
