Interesting the crazy variety of designs over the years. Interesting the original big bubba was 32 inches long and then banned!

Have seen one of those tretorn speedgun ones on fleabay before.

I would love to have a hit with one of these rackets, especially Tretorn Speedgun. I wonder any of these rackets are on sale anywhere.

man, i cant imagine why those racquets didnt catch on

Some hideous models, indeed... having said that, I'd love for someone to make a 'normal' stick that can be easily extendable by up to an inch. Should be very easily doable and in no way will make a racquet feel or look bizarre like some of the, ahem, 'improvements' we see on that page.

Look for a puma universal or Boris Becker frame from the mid to late 1980's. They had a handle system that easily extended the frame. Very solid.
