For the last year or so I've developed this pain on the lower part of my right fibula (the outside bone of the leg) near my ankle, I get this in particular when I bend my knee forward. I think that this is hurting my forehand because it's hard to plant my right foot firmly and bend on it.
I've never had any problems with rolling that ankle, but I'm wondering whether an ankle brace might help prevent the pain and make it easier to plant and bend -- any thoughts?
