Any shoes similar to Vapor 9/9.5s?

Need to get some new pairs soon. Looked around. There’s a couple on the bay but I’d rather not for peace of minds sake. Any similar models around right now? I’m not heavy on my shoes. I guess the Vapor X is the obvious choice, but I like the split sole of the 9s, hence why I’m hesitant. Is there anything else?

Zoom prestige are a takedown of the 9.5. Not great quality but might work due to you mentioning not hard on shoes. Look almost identical

I’ve looked at those but am unsure about first quality, and two cushioning/weight. The midsole seems to look quite thick, flat and stiff by the looks of it. Any experience?

i've had bad experiences with Nike's mid tier shoes. as you mentioned, the midsoles are usually thick for "cushioning and durability", but they also have less support than their flagship models. your foot being higher off the ground plus less stability is not a good combo. definitely would invest in the best shoes, especially since they can be had for pretty cheap

Maybe a tick higher than the Ü2s (which are already very low to the ground. I measured them at 2 cm at the point under the balls of the foot from the ground to the highest point of the midsole, but they are lower as the footbed is curving inwards on both sides). Like I said, the are very similar except for the front which is considerably wider in the Ü3s.

The Ü3s were supposed to be the next Ü2s (which are the successor of the Feather 3s), but Adidas brought the Ü2s back to the market due to the Ü3s being for a completely different foot type, and many complaining that they cannot buy a premium lightweight Adidas shoe for narrow feet anymore.

What was that you didn't like about the Feathers? I am surprised to hear that, as the Feathers 2/3 are universally praised shoes and were true hit amongst the fans of the speed oriented tennis shoes ( I consider the Feather 3s the best lightweight shoes ever overall an still have 5 pairs of them. They fit me perfectly and do a terrific job).

I think I just found them too stiff and tight. I used to always get pain in my foot after about 5 mins of wearing them. Wasn’t that impressed with the weight either. But cushioning and tightness I think was the main issue iirc.

The Prestige runs a little narrower than the Vapor 9.5s & materials are cheaper. The main issue for me was the forefoot cushioning which was hard compared to the Vapors. I am relegated them casual wear.

I'm still a 9.5 holdout, bought a bunch before the X. I'm seeing a bunch of them new on that auction site. Does anyone know if these are fakes or factory seconds?

They either factory seconds or B grade. They are real as it gets.
