Are there any shoes with more durable soles than Asics Gel Resolutions?

If you read these forums and TW reviews there are many shoes that match or trump the Gel Resolutions in terms of sole durability. But is that really the case? I haven't used Barricades, but have used Lotto Raptors/Evos and Wilson Rush Pros (which have received equal or greater scores on TW reviews for durability), but my Asics GR4s and GR6s lasted much longer. My 4s took five months and my 6s pretty much the entire 6 months to get through the primary sole. Is this discrepancy because the Asics GRs seem to show initial wear, but then hang on for a long time thereafter?

The Gel Resolution is my favorite tennis shoes. Out of all shoes I have tried, it offered the most well-arounded performance, comfort and durability. For some reason, I wear out the heel area the fastest. The New Balance shoes, even with the versions that come with durability guarantee, I could wear out the sole within a month. It's not the shoes, I know. I wear out the K-Swiss, Nike and Adidas just as quickly, too, in the heels area. The Gel Resolution has lasted me three strong months and still is intact. Also, though it doesn't feel overly cusioned, it's the only shoe that I didn't have foot pains after playing.
