I for one am terrible about cleaning out my regular 6+ racquet bag. For short trips to the court and club matches, I like to have a smaller more manageable bag with me. A backpack serves this role perfectly. I actually do not own a "real" tennis backpack. I sort of jam a few racquets and stuff into an old academic backpack.

For those users of backpacks, what do you use? How many racquets does your backpack hold? How much clothing and miscellaneous stuff can it hold?

I use the black ktour bag and it's pretty good. I have 2 rackets, pair of shoes, hoodie, shorts, socks, sweatpants, a t-shirt, rubberbands, roll of 15 overgrips, roll of electric tape, scissors, and bottle of gatorade. Fits all of those but I sometimes regret buying it because I'm thinking about by a super six pack.

I use a tennis backpack and it works fine for me. I also have a 6-pack, but it's too big to carry around all the time. It's really only good for tourneys.

The backpack can hold my 2 racquets, my shoes, a few pieces of clothing, 1L water bottle, cell phone, wallet, some overgrips, balls, sunglasses + case, car keys, MP3 player, small lunch bag, and then some. That's usually what I carry in mine anyway.

Who makes your bag boojay?

Magical leprechauns, who else?

But really, leprechauns from Wilson. It's a simple bag.

Except mine's red. My bro has the lime green one.

Any users of the Bab Club pack, Wilson US Open pack or the Head Tour pack? I'm looking at those packs as well as the Wilson kTour and ProStaff.

Sorry no backpack but I use a 3 racquet Prince O3 bag with backpack straps. I personally hate my handles sticking out of my bag. I end up hitting someone on the subway, and I don't want my grips getting messed up (dry or wet). I also want to make sure my strings are not touching anything inside my bag like shoes, or keys or drinks.

I have a little backpack that I use in a pinch but it tends to open up in transit. I clip the zips with a carabiner type apparatus but it is a pain.

I'm using the Head Tour pack for my "casual" sessions and a big bag for tournaments. The reason i chose the Head backpack is the shoe compartiment. You can slide in your shoes from the bottom, they slide in a protection bag inside the main compartiment. So you won't get gravel in your bag. The backpack holds my 2 rackets in their protection sleeves in the separate racket compartiment, haven't tried if it will fit more rackets, but i'm guessing 3 would fit. This compartiment is closed with 2 zippers, 1 on each side. They seem to be sturdy enough not to unzip during transport. The backpack also contains a rain cover in its own storage space, padded lining on the section which touches your back and a extra horizontal strap between the two shoulder straps. All in all it's a pretty comfortable and spacy backpack. Only downside i have found so far is the fact that if you stuff the pack and take out the shoes, you will have to almost empty the compartment before being able to put the shoes back in.

the boris becker backpacks (and all there bags for that matter) are pretty solid and seem to very durable. alittle more expensive than most bags tho (got mine for free). i like mine, only thing is that it can only carry one racquet in its racquet compartment but u could put more in the main compartment

Wolffje: How rainproof is the rain cover, and is it big enough to cover the racquet?
I have not yet tried the rain cover. I'll look into that tonight. Would be pretty useless imo if it would not cover the rackets, but i'm guessing it will only have a hole for your rackethandles in the raincover.

I'll be back!

I too use a regular backpack when commuting to the courts on the motorcycle. Mine holds 2 racquets comfortably with 2 bottles or water, a towel, 3 practice balls, can of new balls and a snack.

Carrying 3 racquets is a tight squeeze unless I unzip the expansion part.

i use a rbk back pack i got for school. Once schools done it will serve as my tennis bag. But for now its used for both. I could probably fit 6 rackets in it if i really had to, Nothing else would fit though. generally i take two of my three rackets, all my old balls a can of fresh balls. over grips, some scissors water, maybe some snacks. Ill post pics later.
