Badminton Stringing

I've had a bunch of people ask me about badminton stringing. I was wondering how different is from tennis stringing and also what do I need to buy to start stringing?

I currently have a Tennis klippermate, can I use that for badminton stringing? What is a good cheap machine I can buy to start up?

Any other info that you find important would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks!

- generally almost the same, only then tension is lower from 18lbs up to 33lbs.
- for machine which has side-support, then you should use the support for badminton.
- you need the badminton fixed clamp if your machine is fixed-clamp type (swivel or glide).
- you also need the badminton flying clamp, recommended is Hi-Qua and Yonex, especially for non fixed-clamp machine.
- this instruction for badminton klippermate machine

So can i use my tennis klippermate to string badminton? Or do I have to buy a seperate machine for badminton. I noticed on the klipper website there is a separate badminton machine and the dropweight device is smaller than the tennis one...

Thanks!

I saw at the klippermate website that you may need :
- Special lightweight Badminton clamps make stringing easy.
- Badminton counterweight is precise within one-half pound
