Should people be forced to be tested for the CV? Personally, I don't think so. Some people have called for this though. They should be careful what they ask for and really consider the consequences.

In Israel, it has been discovered that people with the CV were monitored via their phones. In China, people are being ranked socially via social media. A so called "credit rating system". (Imagine becoming an outcast if the masses disaprove of you. No job for you if some popular jerk dislikes you and only gave you one star). Bullying and dictatorship on a whole new level.
Not to mention that the internet cannot be used without having first signed in with facial recognition on your phone. That's against the rights of free information.

Let's say you voluntary tested for CV, but there's a glitch on "the system" that you were not and they force you to be re-tested...would you be okay with it? A chance of being infected greatly increased. What about your privacy rights? Will they "temporarily jail" you in the slumps, or a luxury hotel? How about hiv patients. Should they be forced? Perhaps people with a cold should be reconsidered for being employed. I don't think so.

People should be careful what they ask for. They themselves may too be forced to be tested for some things against their rights. Perhaps impotency?

Yes, you may have to be tested so others can know if it's safe to be near you. And no, I don't think anyone is likely concerned about your potency.

Do you make up "rights" as you go along?? Time to also make up some responsibilities, such as a responsibility to know whether you are potentially infecting (and possibly killing) fellow citizens if you go out in public places.
OP presents a valid topic for discussion.

Also, you may or may not be aware that you are increasing your likelihood of committing manslaughter every time you get behind the wheel. Knock it off.

yes, another good example of where testing (for alcohol level, for competence to have a driver's license, for neurologic competence to keep a driver's license) may be imposed

Calculated risk seems to be a guiding principle for you. Kudos.

Let's hope that we can avoid a world where internal directive is sacrificed.

There are many times I believe one should not be forced to do something, but when asked to take a test to see if you have an infectious disease, I think you should take the test. Now all that extra monitoring and stuff for those who tested positive, I don't agree with.

I see no reason people should be tested

If a person knows ze’s positive, there should be no restrictions placed on zis freedom

And oh yes, while we are at it, let's get a DNA sample and a photo for our scrapbook. Then we have everything all in one place (to be hacked). And here's a link to our privacy agreement online you just signed off on.

I guess it's hard to express myself properly. How far should authorities be allowed to go? The same authorities of who some are racist or dictators. And let's say 51% of people in those countries trust those leaders, is it a screw the rest scenario?

I'm not saying the CV is not serious. It's very serious. But so too is freedom of movement and freedom of human rights. Some rights are being sacrificed for others. Every person has an individual responsibility. But it should be out of a point of encouragement or moral objective to be tested out of their own will. Not force.

This virus just conveniently have similar characteristics that re education camps in China has. (Recently revealed in china - see bbc). To seclude and segregate people. People who stand together have power. Power is being taken away by a very select amount of people.

Call it fiction if you like, but bare with me:
Let's say democracy doesn't exist. Most large governments are dictators. How can those governments "dictate"? Well, one way would be to make everyone criminally accountable. Now, if disease becomes a crime (which it is showing signs of now), then people can be controlled. Governments can now keep protesters off the street and continue with their corruption.

Another way too control, is to keep the masses uneducated and poor. Won't go into that now.
It is not hard for me to believe that the CV was either generated or released to the public. It's political and a means to change society fast and at a big scale.

Whether it was created on purpose or not, I'm not gonna suggest. But it is clear to see that people can be easily controlled by using viruses like these. And if you believe in the advancement of technology, its not a matter of if, but when viruses like these can be purposely created.

This is hard to attain, especially in places without test kits available for all.
Because of this shortage, infected people stats are considerably lower than actual.

Like during hurricanes, the reporter being interviewed is someone who has been on the forefront of the crisis and talked to a large number of people, and typically has more protection for himself than the photographers who come in later just before the broadcast. Common sense when everyone cannot have all the equipment.

Seems like the right wing is really pissed off that the media is telling it as it is. Fox Nudes tried to pretend there was no problem, till their own people turned against them.

The real criminals are these people and they should be treated as such. But they will be the first filing unemployment claims LOL and using "big government" to their advantage.

A couple of weeks of crisis and "capitalism" and "individualism" and "libertarianism" collapse, to be replaced by socialism in the form of massive bailouts and cash handouts. While the "free market" collapses, only state-mandated and state-managed efforts keep the infrastructure running. Right wings sociopaths who dream of a simple racist and misogynist world where they would enjoy "freedom" at the expense of others are now facing the reality.

Famous Obama quote: "You didn't build that, government did!" What Obama forgot was government can not build anything without first confiscating tax dollars from people who work and or pay Federal Tax Dollars. As for paying Federal Tax Dollars we all do, except 50% of the payees receive a 100% return of the tax they pay in at the end of the tax year.

Therefore, only 50% support and contribute Tax to the benefit of all in the country.

I've seen this kind of thing before. Reporter is wearing a hazmat suit on an EMPTY street, crew that film it all wear NOTHING. If reporter was talking to people and they were really worried about him/her getting infected, same would apply to the crew as someone needs to video the conversation. At least the crew would wear a mask. Maybe reporter went back in time several weeks to Wuhan and just forgot to take the suit off? But I'm wasting my breath here. It's obvious they were making fear-mongering propaganda, if one is able to see and think, regardless of lateral political delusion they're in.

Do you know that masks are in short supply and there is an emergency government order asking the military to procure them for civilians? Or do they not tell you that in Fox Nudes?

Use a little common sense and try to understand that equipment depends on the situation. Unless of course you want to believe the right wing trying to cover their butts for spreading lies about how cool the situation was and trying to bolster up their chief hatemonger.
Yeah, that's the final product of illusion. Though LMAO at the metal mic without protection in a hurricane.

Also where's the news footage at the other end? Why didn't they show the news van? For all we know, the guy who recorded this video and this "news crew" are the same people, and they did this just to get the reactions we are seeing now. Or maybe it's two guys filming a student film or something.

This video is completely devoid of context

I wouldn't put it past the media to do it; hysteria sells. But as it stands I don't think the video can be trusted. They could have at least panned to the rest of the news crew, or maybe the van?

Wherever this virus came from, it's being used to further clamp down on civil freedom. Some people are scared enough to welcome it all, unfortunately.
It's a temporary clamp down, being done in the interest of public health and safety. Civil liberty still has some social responsibility attached to it.

You should be smart enough to understand FICA is not Federal Income Tax. I hope! Fica is your contribution to society, both SS and Medicare were
instituted by Democrats. FDR for SS and LBJ's Great Society for Medicare. So if you have a problem, take it up with these two Democratic Party Presidents. I also hope you appreciate those before you, who payed for your older relatives, so that, they were not a burden to you.

As for adult diaper regime, you came from the baby diaper group and it is possible you will never reach the adult diaper regime. You could look forward to that outcome, if it would make you happy.

Scenario Narrative

LOCK STEP

A world of tighter top-down government control and more authoritarian leadership...

“The pandemic that the world had been anticipating for years finally hit. Unlike 2009’s H1N1, this new influenza strain was extremely virulent and deadly. Even the most pandemic-prepared nations were quickly overwhelmed when the virus streaked around the world, infecting nearly 20 percent of the global population … The pandemic also had a deadly effect on economies: international mobility of both people and goods screeched to a halt, debilitating industries like tourism and breaking global supply chains. Even locally, normally bustling shops and office buildings sat empty for months, devoid of both employees and customers.

The pandemic blanketed the planet and the virus spread like wildfire in the absence of official containment protocols. But even in developed countries, containment was a challenge. The United States’s initial policy of “strongly discouraging” citizens from flying proved deadly in its leniency, accelerating the spread of the virus not just within the U.S. but across borders. However, a few countries did fare better - China in particular. The Chinese government’s quick imposition and enforcement of mandatory quarantine for all citizens, as well as its instant and near-hermetic sealing off of all borders, saved millions of lives, stopping the spread of the virus far earlier than in other countries and enabling a swift post-pandemic recovery.

China’s government was not the only one that took extreme measures to protect its citizens from risk and exposure. During the pandemic, national leaders around the world flexed their authority and imposed airtight rules and restrictions. Even after the pandemic faded, this more authoritarian control and oversight of citizens and their activities stuck and even intensified. In order to protect themselves from the spread of increasingly global problems -from pandemics and transnational terrorism to environmental crises and rising poverty - leaders around the world took a firmer grip on power.

At first, the notion of a more controlled world gained wide acceptance and approval. Citizens willingly gave up some of their sovereignty - and their privacy - to more paternalistic states in exchange for greater safety and stability. Citizens were more tolerant, and even eager, for top-down direction and oversight, and national leaders had more latitude to impose order in the ways they saw fit. In developed countries, this heightened oversight took many forms: biometric IDs for all citizens, for example.”

You have to see the big picture. The health systems breaks down because of this and it’s less resources to treat those who need help for other conditions. It affects everyone.

Plandemic indeed. It's unreal that they did this exercise just few months before this began. Yet, barely anyone is batting an eyelash about it.

Like 9/11 it creates soo much cognitive dissonance that even when presented the facts, they will continue to believe the utter lunacy of the official govt/msm narrative. What we're experiencing now is a global, slow burn 9/11.
