Best Damn Monofilament string out there

I was once sponsored by gamma and loved their TNT Pro Plus strings but now that I no longer get their strings for free, I need a cheaper replacement. I can't stand Multifilament strings. Too mushy, poor tension holding, and poor durability. What's a good, soft, and preferably cheap monofilament? I heard the Leoina strings play very similar to Gamma's TNTs.

I may be remembering wrong, so don't bite my head off if I am. I remember stringing a racquet for a friend with Gosen strings and they were covered with an oil coating. The string would slip thru the clamps. I had alot of trouble stringing with it. Not sure about the string playing once it was strung though.

I've been liking Prince Lightning XX 17 recently. Good power and feel. Durable for me, but I'm not a big string breaker anymore.
