BEST tennis CAMPS FOR ADULTS (boot camp style) (US only)

Looking for a tennis camp for adults, in the east coast and/or west. Basically looking for a camp , where the have you in intense drills, work on stategy, match play and the mental part of the game.

I went to Newcombe's last year for their 5 day session and thought the whole experience was positive. They try to keep you entertained on/off the court. It's mostly drills w/ each focused on a specific shot. You get a one private session w/ a pro and you just work on whatever you want. They also do a video analysis on each of your shots. For the most part they seem to focus on doubles which was kinda a bummer. We would do the entire day session then play matches w/ some of the pros and other people on our own time afterwards. My arm was spent after a week of that. The accommodations and food was good too. For the money I felt it was def worth it and thinking about going back this year again.

Steve Contardi does a great job and the legends are great. It's not cheap, but it offers great quality.

What gatorbait says PLUS if you don't mind paying a little extra, you can take private lessons with the coaches early morning or after the drill sessions..early morning works best for me, gets your body pumping for the day..Newks ROCKS!

Bollettieri/IMG is advertising an interesting session the week of April 25 for 4.5-5.0 males only, $2500. I think this is a first-time offering to test this market segment. Are there any other boot camps that target the 4.5-5.0 player only?

Wow the IMG property sounds intense. But that's what your looking for and they might just get the crowd who believes the hype! But proven academies for that level would be Saddlebrook and Newks.
You certainly can't get anything like this in Hilton Head.

All 3 above are great options for Tennis camps. Newks, Saddlebrook and if IMG is doing a level of mens 5.0 only - they just might draw that crowd.

If a must to be in the US for adults (esp. male) try Newks although i heard IMG was putting together a top rated male adult camp....
