Hurting Elbow

What is Live Wire and how does it compare exactly to poly (all the juicy details)?-played with a poly for almost a year, struggling with most shots except hard hit groundstrokes then switched to Live Wire and never played better.
It's a very crappy multi. Passable at a high tension with a smooth poly cross. What is Live Wire and how does it compare exactly to poly (all the juicy details)?

My advice for you? Stick with Twitter you troll. The boards should be helpful.I'm really happy with my poly. Should I abandon it now on the basis of your post?
I'm familiar with all of that, elbow has been fine for years but kept the name. By all means if you can win at the 4.0 and above levels stick with poly.Curious if the OP played with one string job of his poly when he says he played with it for a year? Many rec players don’t break poly and play with it for many months - they like poly for its ‘durability’!
Does the OP know that you should cut out poly within 10-15 hours if you don’t break it before that? Also, does he know that poly should usually be strung below 50 lbs in most midplus and mid racquets? Was he ignoring that his elbow was hurting while continuing to play with his poly that he now blames? So many questions…
I've been gone awhile, I didn't know the boards became toxic. And will you now have to change your username?
Does anyone actually do that beside the pros? From my username I swapped to a 20x18 350g full bed of babolat blast and my strings now last around a yearCurious if the OP played with one string job of his poly when he says he played with it for a year? Give a gut/poly hybrid a go instead, or you can try full gut.I enjoy the spin from poly but I wonder sometimes if I would/should return to multifilament. I am planning on trying some technifibre and head velocity, just to see if my game improves.

If you use an 18 x 20 string bed, gut is the way to go. Great touch power spin. Best string for picking up low half volleys, great for serving. No stress on your elbow or shoulder from the string. And it lasts in a tight string bed longer than multi so, fewer string jobs.

I actually loved Gamma Live Wire (in black). Agree that it works very well with something like Cyber Flash (ie discount ALU) in the cross. Very cheap but potent string combo, IMO.It's a very crappy multi. Passable at a high tension with a smooth poly cross.
I have found that Multi loses its tension fairly quickly. Gut on the other hand, settles after a day or two and it's playability remains very consistent until it breaks. Just my opinion. I have not used very many multis for that very reason, but there could be some out there that have good durability that I have not tried.Great for baseline playing, yes, but I don't think that it lasts longer than multi.
