Broken Raquet: How to Tell

Hi all,

Is there any way to determine if a racquet is cracked when there is no visible damage?

I was serving with my Babolat AeroPro Drive Cortex and it slipped out of my hand and smashed onto the court several feet in front of me. The butt cap flew off (I put it back on) and I've been playing with it for a couple weeks.

At first I thought there was little more vibration towards the top of the raquet/it was playing softer but after getting it restrung--I'm not sure.

Any thoughts? Has anyone ever had their racquet's butt cap fly off and the racquet still be fine?

Thanks,
Chopin

You may have just jarred a graphite shaving loose and that's what you hear rattling in the head.

Or, you broke it.
