Can anyone compare Tecnifibre TFight 305 RS to Babolat Pure Strike 18x20 3rd Gen?

TLDR does the TFight have any noticeable spin or launch angle increase compared to the Pure Strike? and is the power level about the same?

I'm happy with everything about the Pure Strike - power level, first serve, slice serve, slices, 2hbh, etc. But occasionally I don't get enough spin on my forehand to get it in, or my backhand plays it too close to the white tape on the net cause of my low net clearance, or I have an easier time with short angle shots with a 16x19 racquet.

It's a classic problem with spin vs plow through...never knew Tecnifibre had an 18x19 racquet. I'm probably putting too much hope in finding the magic racquet thinking 1 less string will solve everything, but then again I didn't think I'd be able to tell the difference between a 98 and 97 head size when I first demoed, but it was definitely noticeable. I also wouldn't want anything less comfortable than the Pure Strike - I know the TFight is stiffer, but reviews seem to say it plays pretty comfortably.

Thanks for any input!

HI. I've played with both and did not notice much difference between the two. Maybe the TFight felt a tad head heavier. I don't think the racquet is the problem. Maybe you might want to try the 16x19 pattern of the same racket, or tinker with string and such.

Honestly, IMO, if you can handle the SW and the HH feel of the Tecnifibre, you should try the Pure Strike Tour. That is a great racket and is the best performer in the Strike line.

from my experience with all 3 sticks, the TF305 RS is right in the middle of the two pure strikes in terms of launch angle, but i found it to be slightly lower on power. it definitely is worth a try. the biggest difference for me is the feel. the strikes are more muted whereas the TF reminds me more of the prior gen strike (Project One7).
