Can Carlito's Way take him back to the number one ranking in IW?

This is his shot to reclaim the heavyweight title, he misses this, and he will have to wait a little, as he has a lot of points to defend in the coming days. His way of getting back to the promise land is by winning Indian Wells, and with Earth's Mightiest banned from the venue, all that stands in his way will be six of the world's best.

He needs to win both IW and Miami if he wants to keep no1 for more than two weeks. Also for regaining #1, he must win IW, as he will fall short 300 points in case of losing in the final

I don't think that Alcaraz will get there. He needs to win the event to pass Djokovic. And then, he's defending 1000 points at Miami. I don't see this happening.

One guy that could make a run to #1 before Djokovic puts that spot away is Tsitipas. Granted, he's 1355 points out of first place. However, he's defending only 45 day at IW. From there, he's defending 0 points at Miami and the next 3 clay Masters events.

Tsitsipas is going to have a tough time defending 1000, 360 & 600 points from the title, SF & F at 3 clay masters last year.
Even from miami he will have to defend 90 points I guess.
