Dear Sirs!
Roland Garros is a wonderful tournament. There are so many great matches going on this year. Unfortunately, for some reason, I am as a tennis fan don't have the opportunity to see most of them. Instead, I am being fed with some of the most boring and ONE-SIDED affairs going on the womens side including Williams sisters, Davenport. Tennis is an international sport. In my opinion ESPN is killing tennis in the United States by showing celebrity athletes playing lower tanked opponent instead of showing more competitve matches on the men's side including some of the best in the world (Coria, Hewitt, Safin, Kuerten, Federer, etc). Today, #1 player in the world lost to a three-time Roland Garros champion on the men's side. For some reason, which I don't understand. we only saw a highlight of this match that lasted 30 seconds.
In addition, I am very frustrated at seeing all these re-runs of Williams matches. Williams - Kirilenko match was shown 3!!! times. It wasn't an upset or anything.
On the other hand, there are numerous 4 and 5 set matches going on men's side that weren't even shown in highlight session.
So, my suggestion is to show more matches but not in their completion. So, if Serena won first set 6-0, who wants to see it? Competitive tennis is exciting, while bagels are plaing boring and not competitive.
I think you should fund some balance, because there are many many people that are not satisfied with the coverage. And just to see how frustrating it is for some fans, read some of the posts on this message board:
