Cutting a Tour Xtra Long

Hello - I'm thinking of buying a Head Tour Xtra Long, but in case I don't like the 28'' length, I intend to shorten to standard length. On this racquet, is the hairpin itself longer (and hence needing to be cut), or is it merely the pallets that are longer?

Is there a reason you don't buy a PT2.0 instead? I hate seeing a 28" racquet get cut down.

I have 6. 4 cut down to 27”. You will be cutting the hairpin! I like them a lot as 27”. Lately i have been playing with the 97hd (more power and better sweetspot). But I enjoy both racquets. How that helps.

I have one in great condition cut down to 27” that has been collecting dust. I also added silicone in the handle to make it more HL. 340g strung

i dont understand. If you need normal lenght just buy a normal lenght but dont ruin a racquet. you could also choke on the handle.
