How did Nishioka beat Karlovic.

Is Nishioka the shortest guy in the top 100? Top 200? Top 1000?

Yeah, I saw it. Ivo had like 8 or so BPs in Nishioka's first few service games, but couldn't break through. Nishioka played well on like half of them, but cheap forehand errors from Ivo on a few also. Something Ivo has always struggled with, when injecting pace off that side IMO.

Ivo fell apart at the tail end of both sets. Nishioka is a very solid player though. Favourite serve is the slider out wide, on ad side. Had a lot of success with that particular serve. No real big weapons, but his groundies are consistent and he spreads the court well enough. Outclassed Ivo from the baseline.

16 inches height difference, and 17 years age difference. Should have seen the hand shake as well lol. Ivo not a happy camper. He's on a losing streak IIRC.

In the last few matches I've seen Ivo play, he's been looking to get really tired in the second set. He'll start off the match hitting serves in the 130 range and putting up a decent fight from the baseline even, really painting the lines. When it comes to the second set, his mph seems to just drop off, not hitting serves inside the pockets, volleys have depth but no angle at all, and is just racking up a tonne of unforced errors.
