decreasing grip or tail weight w/out shrinking grip size???

Does anyone know how to decrease the tail weight or grip weight of the racquet without decreasing the grip size?

I have a racquet that is 13.2 oz/375 grams and is very head light. I would like to decrease it's overall weight by pulling some weight out of the handle. Did not know if it would be possible to pull the butt cap off and drill a small hole up the middle of the handle to cut some weight. I would like to take approx 5 grams out of the handle without shrinking my grip size.

Any thoughts appreciated...

If there is a heavy synthetic or leather grip, you can decrease weight by at least 0.2-0.3oz by substituting with a lighter overgrip.

If the original racket was very headlight, it's going to be very difficult, maybe impossible, to take out alot of weight from the handle.

Taking off the buttcap and building up the area with electrical tape can reduce the weight by 0.1-0.2oz, depending how heavy the buttcap is.

And there's no way you can take weight out of the center of the handle without destroying the handle or even ruining the racket. So the best you can do is using a lighter overgrip and removing the buttcap, but this may be enough.

Another thing people have tried is cutting off the portions of the bumper guard even though this seems to me a very difficult and messy operation. This would make the racket less headlight.
