Did Federer get his RF logo back?

His daughters were wearing RF hats during his match today. I don’t see Nike logos anywhere. I wonder if he finally got the RF logo back?

He did get it back, I believe Nike relinquished their rights to it. I was of the understanding, though that Uniqlo was not going to use it and rather either create their own or not use any personalised logo for Roger.

That is strange because Uniglo was fine with Djoke’s logo on his Uniglo gear.

I have seen nothing to confirm he actually has the rights yet. Lots of "reports" saying it, but nothing for sure. But as mentioned, Uniqlo speicifcally has been quoted as saying they have no interest in using it for their brand. Not sure where that leaves Fed for options of using it for merch since I am sure Uniqlo has a non-competition type clause that Fed wouldn't be able to do his own thing.

Those hats look like home-made ones, or possibly the real deal from Nike with tape surrupticiously covering any offending "swooshes"?

We can be sure Roger will let everyone know if/when he ever gets access to the RF logo.

Until then, we have good reason to believe the status quo remains: Nike was responsible for the creation of the logo, and have full control over it's use.

It's just as easy for me to believe that Roger is happy to eventually return to Nike once his Uniqlo tenure is finished, and again represent Nike in a Heritage capacity with a new clothing range that reprises the RF logotype under Nike's continued control.

So, the only difference between a Nike product to look "homemade" as opposed to "the real deal" is if it has the swoosh (even if it is covered)?

That RF logo looks so much nicer on my Uniqlo shirts, shorts and jackets. Instead of the HEAT transfer, I get both the Uniqlo and RF logo sewed into the jacket, shirt, and short :)

@Tennis_Hands - Nothing wrong with something being home-made! But further to your point, I think we might agree that the quality of some of the RF merchandise leaves a lot to be desired ;)

Yes, but we know that you weren't using it in that sense, so, afraid to even show yourself much?

I have no idea what "merchandise" you are talking about, and I am sure that I won't hear much about it from you, for obvious reasons.
