Difference between Babolat PD and APDGT?

I've used a Babolat PD for 2 years now and I want to switch. I recently tried out the AeroProDrive GT for a couple of practices and loved it (My PD's strings broke so I can't compare them between points). From what I understand, the APDGT gets more spin and more control while the PD gets more power. What other benefits does the APDGT offer over the PDGT? I haven't tried out the PDGT but I like the general feel of the APDGT, I don't know if it's a placebo-like effect but I feel that my racquet is going through the air quicker because of the aerodynamics of the racket frame. Thoughts? Did anyone switch between the two and prefer one over the other?

Kinda reverse, but I play with apdc and recently acquired a pdgt.

Maybe because it's my main stick, the apdc feels extremely fluid and very whippy which is important to my style. The pdgt feels stiffer, thus slightly more plow-thru but can also be crappy and sluggish if you let up the hitting power. I can play a million ways with my apdc and it always feels like it can absorb the ball better and spin it better, too. :)

I don't see how aerodynamics is a factor at the speeds these racquets achieve. IMO swingweight is about the only thing that determines racquet head speed.

P/S. I do think that the lighter colored racquets are quicker through the air. White is fastest then yellow. Black is slowest.

They are the same thing! This has been discussed quite a bit I believe.

So a little history lesson...
Obviously, Babolat was making great sales on the Pure Drive racquet. However, Babolat's flagship model of an aerodynamic racquet called the "Aero Tour" was unpopular to the industry. This is because that shape was very strange, it had a very unforgiving sweetspot, and was EXTREMELY stiff (yes, much stiffer than a PD). So just as a thought, Babolat thought they should combine the inspiration of the Aero Tour with the popular specs of the Pure Drive. Which is what we call the AeroPro Drive.

FYI, I think that the Pure Drive has a more solid feel for some reason.

They feel very similar. You can switch between them seamlessly if you have them weighted and balanced the same. From the throat to the top they are virtually identical. Rafa used the Pure Drive prior to switching to the APD.

I loved the feel of the original AeroTour frame but it was very stiff and a bit of a pain to string due to its bizarre head shape.
